There's a risk that you can roll on your baby, comforters, sheets or pillows could get over baby's head. If you're a rough or acrobatic sleeper, that's a threat, etc etc

There are ways to make it safer. And frankly if the parents do not know about those, it is unlikely that they know how to make the crib as safe as possible as well.

A baby in a car is in more danger than co-sleeping. Just saying.

I know I could never sleep with my kids in bed when they were tiny, not until they could roll and shuffle, even then it was like sleeping with one eye open.
I do move about a lot in bed and tend to be quite a wriggle arse
