I would not spend a lot of time defending Gringrich. Better to get a candidate tht doesn't have the baggage he does then to try and clean up the Gingrich jalopy.

Amazing the lies that can be sold, and bought by dupes like you, when someone is bound by a confidentiality agreement. He was a consultant. BFD.

Nothing Newty-Fruity has ever said is worth $300k

Only thing I'd ever dream of hearing from him that would even be close to worth that is if he was standing in a men's room and said "Don't go in that stall. Larry Craig's in the next stall and the lock sticks"

Thats the great thing about capitalism. Know-nothings don't determine the worth of something to someone else.

You can point it out and imply something nefarious but there could easily be a simple explanation.  The confidentiality agreement is more likely protecting something nefarious on the part of Freddie.

truly yours is a better excuse than whats been posited so far?
"more than likely" isnt any more than your charge of "implication"
if he is so against F&F, wouldnt think he would move heaven and hell to bring them to JUSTICE?

You would think and I'm not sure whats in that brilliant mind of his, I don't have all the answers,  but let me consult my crystal ball and I'll get back to you.

Just think how valuable he would be if he could also warn us when Barny Frank is in the next stall. [8D]

You're fucking kidding me... Barney Frank is better than having a trained Dobey to rip your nuts off. Neo-cons spend so much time worrying about beating up his image they never see shit like this coming....

How do you know Barny is better than having a dobey rip your nuts off ?   I don't think cons are too worried about Barny Frank though they wonder as do I how on earth he keeps getting elected over and over.

And whats the point of linking to a video of a bunch of wacked out libs disrupting a speech by Eric Cantor ?  Of course we see shit like that coming and have learned to expect it.   When conservatives show up to liberal events and to see liberal speakers they participate by asking questions and challenging the speaker in a respectful manor.  They don't disrupt and cause trouble. When liberals show up to conservative speech events they act like spoiled babies. They shout out insults, chant stupid meaningless shit like on the video that you kinked to, they disrupt the proceedings overall and even throw pies.

And I'm not fucking kidding you.

Nosathro -> RE: Gingrich took $300,000 from Freddie Mac?!? (11/16/2011 7:28:39 AM)

I believe that the money Gingrich got was from the $179 Billion in bail out money Fannie Mae got, claiming they were in finanical trouble. They have already used the bail out money for $100 Million in excutive bonuses, paid outside law firms to file false court document get home foreclosed on. Then ask for another $7.9 Million because the lost money on the same foreclosures. Our tax dollars at work

This was just after he left office in disgrace after being speaker of the house.

They payed him for what lobbyists do.His contacts, his influence and his advice on how to influence others in government.

Now newty`s bashing Freddie? For votes? After taking 300 grand of their money?Pahhhh=leeezze.

Republican=hypocrite.

Nothing illegal about what he did.Or what Freddie did.

It`s newty`s hypocrisy that this thread is about.

The retards defending the hypocrisy......... or denying it are also what the thread`s about......

what part of "consulting" dont you understand.

Oh...all of it, nm.

I understand consulting, I used to make my living doing it.

So what was his area of expertise?
He certainly doesn't know business practice or IT or accounting or tax law or any other field that consultants usually work in. The only field he has any relevance in is lobbying and influence peddling both of which he claims not to have been doing.

You might look to the economy and finance, since he engineered the near balanced budgets that the libs love to give Clinton credit for.

He wrote the budgets? I thought that was done by Ways and Means? What professional expertise does a guy with a PhD in modern European history have in finance or economics?

Still looks like unregistered lobbying to this humble consultant. Especially for a $1.6 million payday.

As Speaker he had great influence over W&M and you know it. Hint:Nobody gives a fuck what it looks like to you. Put an R after their name and you'll invent something to discredit them.
