Chamberlain was right wing, as were most of the Tories at that time, who didnt want war with Germany, due to fears over communist Russia. Dadier was the leader of the radical party in France ( centrists ) Hitler made his "Pact of Steel" with Palin in May 1939 ( well after the Munich agreement) and after Chamberlain had said in March that Britain would go to war if Hitler invaded Poland. You would be better employed trying to work out how to stop messing up your accounts, than debating with the grown ups.

FDR and Truman set the precedent for US foreign policy, and both Republicans and Democrats have marched in lockstep behind that doctrine ever since. It's never questioned at the mainstream level; it's never open for debate. Until more people can start seeing the forest through the trees, not much will ever change in terms of US military and foreign policy. Sure, there might be debates over whether or not we go into Iran or any specific military operations, but the overall policy itself is rarely debated in any meaningful way, neither by Democrats nor Republicans.
