A typo does not an idiot make...I agree,in general. However, a typo (or misspelling) in a post about grammar, spelling or the education system DOES an idiot make. If doesn't take even average intelligence to proofread or spell-check those posts, lest you are just laughed at.

Though he is not going quiet into that gentle night....lol.The Governor of Texas made the rounds of pretty much every morning news show.....talking about his "brain freeze" smiling and trying to put that best possible face on what him and his team must know was a major death blow to his candidacy.

It has been my experience that when a moron is unable to contribute to a discussion they will find some spelling error to focus on as a high point of their intellectual ability.

Speak for yourself, willbeur.  I'm almost positive your spelling/grammar is wrong in the above post.  "If" should be "It"?

Well, intellectual property rights, patents and copyright is a pretty big thing. The Patent and Trademark office is part of Commerce.

Their goal is to promote economic growth for the nation. Anyone here think we need less economic growth?

The census comes in handy.

NOAA is important. Tornado warnings are a good thing.

Standards are good. Making sure the bolt you buy matches the nuts you have is what the National Institute of Standards and Technology is up to...
