Goldline Execs Charged with Fraud.

This is nothing more than liberals hating free speech by targeting Conservatives sponsors. It doesnt matter if they really committed Fraud because its nothing more than a way for liberals to prove that Conservatives dont care about what is "right" as long as that get theirs which is the way it should be, read Ayn Rand.

Goldline, a company that used endorsements from Glenn Beck and other conservative icons to sell hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gold to consumers, has been charged with theft and fraud in a 19-count criminal complaint filed Tuesday by local officials in California.

The criminal complaint filed Tuesday by the Santa Monica City Attorney's consumer protection unit marks the latest in a series of allegations it has leveled against the gold dealer, which pioneered the practice of weaving its sales pitches into broadcasts by popular conservative political personalities -- including two former presidential candidates -- to sell hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gold every year.

The complaint alleges that Goldline "runs a bait and switch operation in which customers, seeking to invest in gold bullion, are switched to highly overpriced coins by using false and misleading claims," according to a statement released by the consumer affairs division of the Santa Monica City Attorney's office.

I'm surprised the conservatives aren't targeting him as well: he makes them look even worse than Coulter or Limbaugh, which is no mean feat.

mnottertail -> RE: Liberals target Glenn Beck via Goldline (11/2/2011 1:59:12 PM)

They lack the mien.

Moonhead -> RE: Liberals target Glenn Beck via Goldline (11/2/2011 2:13:57 PM)

The Cons have no guns?
I doubt that Gabrielle Giffords or the people shot by that Aryan in Norway would agree...

mnottertail -> RE: Liberals target Glenn Beck via Goldline (11/2/2011 2:19:43 PM)

No----- they have no mien to feat, those guys.

Moonhead -> RE: Liberals target Glenn Beck via Goldline (11/2/2011 2:22:30 PM)

Goldline is a scam and that`s what`s going to do it damage.

Have any of you Beckites, purchased his seeds?

He`s got 10 or 12 scams going.

mnottertail -> RE: Liberals target Glenn Beck via Goldline (11/2/2011 4:14:52 PM)

I got three bean seeds, only 99 dollars down and 99 dollars a month for 99 months (plus shipping and handling).

Goldline is a terrible place to buy bullion, and they should be charged with fraud.

I called them one day just to get rates on Philharmonics and I was advised to 'invest' in numismatic coins. Basically, they told me that this rare numismatic was the best possible value (lie #1) and would be the best way to profit (lie #2).
I played dumb at first, then started grilling the sales rep. I asked them how I was supposed to break even when the markup from spot was nearly 66%. Eventually, the sales rep stopped playing that game and suggested the Krugerrand. Those sales reps must be making a fortune off commission.

There are so many idiots out there who I'm sure got scammed by Goldline. They see all these ads out there advising them to buy gold, which is a wise investment - but not when you need to gain 66% to break even!

Actually, it does.  Breaking the law is a crime, being a liberal or a conservative is not.
