Syrians took to the streets inspired by the success of the revolution in Libya that resulted in the death of its former leader Muammar Qaddafi. President Bashar al-Assad’s forces shot dead on Friday at least 28 protesters as they came out to demand he step down from power.

Syria’s opposition movement, boosted by the killing of Libya’s ousted dictator, called for fresh protests across the country in support of the Libyan people and against Assad’s regime.

Protesters in Tadmor and Idleb could be seen chanting "Syria do not fear, Bashar after Qaddafi" during an evening protest on Thursday in videos posted on a social media site. Protesters held posters saluting Libya as they chanted anti-Assad slogans.

Homs, the city of one million, has also witnessed an emerging insurgency after repeated attempts by tank-backed troops to suppress demonstrations calling for an end to Assad rule and more political freedoms.

Most of Friday's killings were in the central city of Homs and in Hama to the north, major centers of anti-Assad protests and the targets of major military operations to contain them.

The United Nations says Assad's crackdown has killed 3,000 people since the uprising began while Syrian authorities say at least 1,100 police and soldiers have been killed.

Nope.

ETA because it wouldn't let me out. Ashjor is right for Ashjor, but not for everbody else. I wish you knew how bad some people are, because that would explain to you why there have been so many revolutions and wars in the world since time began. then yoiu understand why you can't see it from the contemporary point of view. As you open your mind to different peoples, open it also to different times.

This has been going on forever. How to fight it ? Oops, you don't have any tinfoil hats. You are fucked because you have no recourse. When your lawyer pays you for selling your ass down the river, let me know.

You see, they want it the same way in Syria. They want it the same way in Lybia. They wanted it the same way in Iraq, and in plenty of other countries that are not currently being bombed.

I don't have blinders. Man is Man, we are a beast of conquest, of domination, of raw fucking power. Unlike most I understand the concept. Johnboy Ewewing of Dallas saying "I want a revolution". That was fine but for two tings. The government would have never fucked with him and he would have not gotten shot. Who cares who shot JR ?

And they parade this play out for you, and the sheeple bite. They argue in the street, Gore v Bush, McWar v Obomba, Clitton v a Jew. And you think there will be any fucking difference. I ROFL thinking of that. How could you have the intelligence to function anymore than a ditchdigger and think there is any difference in Presidential candidates ?

It's an alluring fantasy and I admit, the first Black President, maybe we get some real change, but we didn't.

So I don't play that game anymore. No voting no nuthin. Read the fucking Turner Diaries to find out my plans, if you can get it.

I got it.

T^T

We won't be able to support Syria unfortunately: they do have weapons of mass destruction, aimed at Israel.

Secretly, or otherwise?

You'd wish that on Ashjor? God, that's fucked up in a dimension I can't begin to describe.
