There is too much she said in the rape allegation... Im not to say she is lying, but more people need to get more information before saying the Occupy movement is at fault.

I have said that already Stern.. and I agree. But I totally disagree with the reporting of the incident, its focus on the movement instead of the crime.. and the portrayal by one young man in that report that the woman in question is lying. We dont know why she is attending Parma.... she could simply be ADD... or she could be autistic. If its the later, how badly? And if its that, why was she there all night? The group denies making tent assignments. If she is autistic, then I tend to believe someone made that assignment for her. Who was it? If others were around, was anyone close enough that they would have heard her cries for help? Or did she cry out? Those tents look very close in the pictures I have seen. I think its rather sickening in this day and age that we still automatically come back to the story that she is lying before evidence of even a crime is in place. She said it happened. Nothing else has come out. I prefer to believe she is telling the truth. Where is the investigative reporting? Why wasnt anyone at the movement notified? Something was mentioned about a follow up report tonight at 6. Maybe more information will be forthcoming. We have one of three outcomes. 1) its true, and the poor woman has been abused in multiple ways, even by the press. 2) there is no truth to the story and she simply had a bad dream. Not something I believe, but something that was brought up in a blog. 3) That she was a plant and the story is made up to undermine the movement.

Another FB User, a woman told me she wasn't sure the woman was really from the camp or had anything to do with them. She seemed to feel it was just a crime in the general vicinity that the press very deliberately tried to tie to the occupation. I believe her, when there ARE real events, usually a BIG statement is released, and it's generally pretty tight in terms of accuracy. The Boston PD have yet to say much publicly against ours but to clarify certain points. Which WE have been quick to publish on OUR sites. These guys want to attribute THEIR usual MO to us, and it ISN'T Working.
