Due to my own location (Massachusetts), I rarely look at profiles outside of New England for potential submissives or slaves. Is this phenomena restricted to New England, or do others notice these exact same - or highly similar - profiles in other states as well?

Over the past two years, on almost a monthly basis, several new profiles will appear under different names, stating
quote:

"Hello I'm //fill in a first name// //fill in a age// from //fill in a town name//. My fantasy is to be kidnapped, tied up and tortured...no limits..."

Actively Seeking: Dominant Men//Dom/Domme Couples//Male-Dom Couples

Each is accompanied by a photograph or two, each clearly shot by a professional photographer. The wording, except for the name, age and town name, is exactly the same.

A recent example, "joined" on 10-18-11

did a quick search for profiles with the word "kidnapped" and found none that joined recently that match your sample, which is no longer visible.

In general, anytime the pics are professional, I automatically assume it's a scammer.

Are these the 23 year old females that other men have mentioned recently? You'll have to venture out of P&R more often :)

I haven't noticed the kidnapped profiles in a while. I haven't been been looking at profiles on the otherside very much the past few weeks unless I take a like at a persons profile that posts on the boards.

Even with me doing a search in my area I don't see anybody new in my area

They seem to "join" and then disappear within a week. A few weeks ago three joined the same day (2 in Massachusetts and 1 in New Hampshire) and all three disappeared 2 days later. Occasionally they crop up on Bondage dot com as well.

I guess it's just another variation on the Nigerian/Ghana/Ivory Coast scam. More crap to delete from "Newest Local Users"..

As of today I finally am outside the 23 yo fake stigma... which I whole heartedly blame certain members of the boards for.

I'll do you one better:

Anytime a young/attractive female sub mentions no limits or being kidnapped, I automatically assume it's a scammer.

Oh yeah? Well, anytime a sub of any age or attractiveness level mentions a desire for sex or friendship, I automatically assume it's a scammer. What now, motherfucker?

I know the feeling. I almost fell for it too, then I saw the airline ticket I sent to myself was "non-refundable."

If there are pictures then I look.  Okay so I'm a perv.  I don't really have any intention of meeting anyone unless it's the people that I enjoy having conversations with from the other side.

Tips to the pretend people:
1. Don't download porn pics and use them.  Please choose something cute to steal that I haven't yet seen so it's not a complete waste of time for me.
2. "Native American" to those not from here doesn't mean "born in the USA" so please don't select it to go with your blonde hair/blue eyed picture.
3. Don't be cute and hot and beg for old, overweight, terribly out of shape and broke guys to contact you -- it ruins my fantasy of you.
4. Please at least pic a few interests.
5. Please understand that "bi" mean you like men and women so don't be a man hater.
6. Don't try and fool us by using paintshop to change the name in someone's flag on a pic to yours.  You probably aren't that great at editing pictures.

And then there are profiles such as mine, which is intentionally heavy on the
photography selections to compensate for the intentionally limited amount of text.
I figure if someone is taking the time to look at my profile, I may as well make it
as appealing as possible, so they don't go away completely empty handed.

One day about three weeks ago I got 7 in one day!
They were all "23 years old" and "5' 4" tall and the pics looked like they were taken out of magazines.
