Not to rain on the parade, but I think mary Tyler Moore's son was into drugs and commited suicide. The real life wasn't as nice as th TV life.

I remember as a little kid, staying up late to watch Nick at Night to see this show and my mom used to laugh because it was sooooo before my time.

Reagan divorced the wonderful and well-thinking Jayne Wyman for sake of a lap puppy girl named Nancy.

Back to the subject of the OP;

George Burns and Gracie Allen. Look it up, google, youtube, etc.


Look at their routines and notice how smart Gracie played the part of the "dumb partner" by the putatively 'dumb' but wickedly pointed questions she presented to Burns. This was  overshooting the limp press at the time in questioning politicians.

The Addams' - yes! I love their relationship. And every now and then they would sneak in a little S&M allusions with her on top.

Some years back, when I was actively seeking someone on this site(and others),  I often asked women with whom I was exchanging emails who they liked better, the Addams or the Munsters. Invariably the ones who, at that point in our communicating, attracted me more said the Addams Family.......
