They're laughed out every day. It's funny as hell cause they all come and tell us what things will be like and the how THEY'RE going to work through that with us.. and then somebody says ..."Okay, well you can say that in the GA and see if it gets any legs"... and they're usually pissed. The first day I attended there was a Ron Paul supporter who thought a wave of support was going to lift him up once they heard Ron's promise to America ... Someone said "GOOD GOD, can you hurry it up?".

These morons just keep lining up ... the guitarist from 'Rage Against The Machine", Tom Morello kinda talks about that... I like this guy and wasn't really sure I would.

lol

I said I can see how these groups would love too... I didnt say they would. These so called "kids" arent as green or naive as many would like them to be.... and they arent all kids.

o'dumbo supporting the ignorant and flea covered. Now isn't that special. He's desperate. He knows he's going down in a year big time. What else does he have? He promotes that wall street and republicans nonsense when his moolah comes in large part from wall street and any regulated companies. Lord people, what the hell were you smoking when you voted this marxist in office? You vote for a PRESIDENT, not a prom king, not the president of your student council.

farglebargle -> RE: OWS Movement Gains New Support (10/16/2011 4:19:33 PM)

Are you calling the nation's Airline Pilot's Association "ignorant" and "flea-covered"?

Ummm... Nobody cut & pasted the article. It's linked on Drudge. Still is. Apparently you get one full-article view before the invite to subscribe appears (or at least that's what I got). Maybe he has a deal with them to drive traffic to their site, I don't know.

erieangel -> RE: OWS Movement Gains New Support (10/16/2011 6:04:58 PM)

Just my [sm=2cents.gif] but you know, I don't really care what sorts of people participate in the movement.  Eventually, it will become more streamlined with outright demands.  Right now, it is mostly well-informed American citizens who are mad as hell and unwilling to take it anymore.  Mad about the bank bailouts, the growing income inequality, the lack of jobs and the growing militarism.  This country has gone down the crapper in recent years.

Just say`n.....

Hippiekinkster -> RE: OWS Movement Gains New Support (10/16/2011 10:09:00 PM)

So when was that pic taken, fargle?

So tell me, skipper, how is it bullshit ("Well given it is just bullshit...") if the CPUSA and the soi-disant "nazis" DID endorse the OWS movement?

Uh, Kirata, old chap, what was the purpose of this stunning revelation? (other than entertainment, I mean)

Well, old chap, every time some kind of vile shit goes down, and the parties of the second part don't promptly distance themselves from it and condemn it in no uncertain terms, the tar brushes come out in force. So I thought it might be pertinent to post a heads-up before things get out of hand.

Sadly, however, it appears that our resident media expert believes that as long as you control what's said at the microphone up front then no amount of video of vile shit going on in the crowd matters, and that the intelligent policy is to call it "bullshit" and cast offensive slurs at anyone whose head isn't in the bilge along with his.

I'm sorry you wasted a whole day spinning out of having come out with a cheap shot when somebody merely said your 'media' source (if we're to engage in charity) was worthless. Nothing personal, if any of my other acquaintances had used the same information port-a-john, they'd have been told the same thing.
And though it's no good reason to launch into personal attacks. So I'll make it a point next time to just pretend you aren't using propaganda and ignore it. That should make you happy. Surely something's gotta.

Well, I doubt that preemptive condemnation will do much good in this instance. I suspect the usual suspects will be out in farce with their typical tacks, listing so far to starboard that they've capsized.

The bait is too enticing.

"Oh Cabin Boy! Oh Cabin Boy!
You dirty little nipper!
You put ground glass
around your ass
and circumcized the Skipper!"

Starboard would imply he's getting help... unless you're like nautically enfeebled ... Oh wait, sorry for bringing that up

Photo credit is NY Daily News 9/27...

"On Sept. 27, over 700 hundred Continental and United pilots, joined by additional pilots from other Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) carriers joined the protest."

CHINA THROWS SUPPORT BEHIND 'OCCUPY'...

mnottertail -> RE: OWS Movement Gains New Support (10/17/2011 7:34:46 AM)

Upon a reading of the article, the term 'throws support behind' may be comparing a statement that:

The whale is undoubtably one of the largest mammals alive today.

to a heresy.

Sanity -> RE: OWS Movement Gains New Support (10/17/2011 7:38:40 AM)

From the article:

quote:

It has swelled to include demonstrations on Saturday elsewhere in the U.S. and in Europe involving hundreds of thousands of people. In China, online calls for similar protests did not appear to elicit any responses.

Gee, could that possibly be because the Communists already run China, and therefore such protests are forbidden

?

mnottertail -> RE: OWS Movement Gains New Support (10/17/2011 7:42:31 AM)

And that in one of the nutshells is why it appears that China throwing their support behind us may be a misleading lead in to the article.

Never fear though, it was you telling me that regardless there were a million chinese mothers going to rise up over tianamen square. I said not a chance.

And if the Chinese populus was behind our problems, they would rise up and risk tianamen again, they clearly are not to excited about our financial problems, seems they have known about it all along.......they loan us money you know, for freedom for Iraquis. They will repo if necessary.

CHINA THROWS SUPPORT BEHIND 'OCCUPY'...

Do you ever read the articles you post?

I did and it says nothing about China supporting the OWS protests.
China: Occupy Wall Street's issues worth thought

That's a far cry from support.
I'm sure they said the same thing about the tiananmen square right before they opened fire.

"worth Thought"

That's it. Look at it and think about the issues it raises. Not a word of support.
