Ok, let me clarify my question, how many died due to negligence,

Well if we count Iraq........

from a gun purchased specifically for gun walking?
Or with a GUN purchased for the sting?

Ahhh, I see if you can mince it close enough the answer is 1=0 and your argument assumes some credibility under those specific circumstances.

But negligence now.......thats a rough one. If one dies in an auto accident, is someone negligent in something? Of course, and so we then have to see how. If it is due to circumstances that are .............nah, I don't need to tell you this stupid shit, you're a cop!!!!

So, clearly the negligence is on Phoenix ATF folks. Other blames may be placed in other places when more is known, for instance of the 76 guns the ATF lost from their own armory, do we have the numbers on who was killed with those guns?

And, Ron, what we don't know, but you are assuming ... what did Obama know, and when did he know it? [8D][;)]

We all are having our assumptive periods here, and I guess the reason that I defend and detract is that it is not looking real cut and dried, and I would call this williwaw at this point way too early to take a wait and see attitude.

I am out to lunch on the finality of anything here. He coulda, he coulda not.

That is the sum and total of it, for now, where I am.

We shall see what the investigations come up with.

I think we are in agreement as to methods, reason and "guilt" at the moment, then.

Clearly somebody (at least symbolically) will have to go to the woodshed over this though, one wonders if it will go uphill any further than Phoenix, where it sits now....

I have no illusions that some vast uncovering of information and wrongdoings will come out of a congressional investigation. I just don't see the impetus for that, there isn't enough to be gained here.
