Hear Hear! What a nice post. I hadn't even been reminded about Leif/Leiv for a number of years. What Columbus did was astounding for his time. But as hurtful as it may be to our propaganda bred pride, let's give credit where credit is due. I certainly don't have any problem honoring both explorers. I say let it stand that Leif discovered America for his age and Columbus in turn for his own. We would all be living like sardines in Europe otherwise...
