Is there a way to report a message as spam without actually opening it? I would *love* to nail some of these repeat offenders without giving them the satisfaction of opening their messages before I report/delete it.

I don't know that you can. Perhaps just report their profile instead. You don't have to view the profile to report it. Just put the user name in the "Username" box of the search portion of the "Home" page and access their profile (and the report button) that way.

I wish there were a way to do that but until that happens I open them and report them anyway. I want to see them pay some kind of price. It's always kind of funny to see them sputter and screech about being halted from spreading their drivel around everywhere. I love reading a journal entry full of self-righteousness about that, makes my day.

Thanks everyone. The putzes I'd love to do this with send the same damn spam under different accounts as soon as one is blocked/shut down.

So...if I report the profile do I say they are violating TOS by spamming?

Mods, what do you recommend?
