Does anyone know how to change your profile photo?  I went to edit profile, and uploaded the new photo.  When I checked, the new photo was showing on my edit your profile page, but when I viewed the actual profile, it was the old photo.  So I went back into edit profile, was going to delete the old one, but it only had one photo in my profile - the new one.  I deleted that, so there should have been no photo - and I checked, and my profile was viewing as not having a photo.  I then uploaded the new photo again - and still, my profile is showing the old one.

???????

To make things even weirder, when I sent the post, the little preview here is the new photo.  But on collarme.com, my profile is still showing the old one.

Cm is notorious for taking time to update certain sectors of the servers, photos seem to lag, and patience is required.

Wait 2-3 hours, if it still hasn't righted itself, do this: delete ALL photos. Sign out of CM completely. Reboot your computer. Sign back into CM. Upload ONE photo only, the profile pic. Now check.

This doesn't always help, but it gives you something to do while you are waiting.

FR

Now I have a problem. I changed my primary photo. The dimensions were narrower and instead of displaying the new photo, it squished the old photo into narrower dimensions. Then I let it delete the primary photo because I was trying to replace it, and figured the old picture could be an additionsal photo. I downloaded it becasue I didn't feel like searching around for it if I coukldn't retrieve it. But I got it.

And now it displays no photo.

I think I'll just wait a day before I do anything.

Actually I don't know when the new pic loaded for everyone else but I played the cache game. I told it to empty the cache and then after a minute I cancelled the action.

You can't clear the cache. If you reduce it to zero MB, it will sit there and pretend to delete the files, but if you right away after it's done giving you that show you reincrease the size to whatever, the files come back. From where ? It's a bunch of bullshit, the files are still there until they are overwritten. Clearing the cache does nothing for your privacy, all it does is allow certain files to be overwritten and to force slightly different behavior of the browser, that is to refresh shit it doesn't want to refresh.

You want REALLY private browsing, run Linux off a CD.

But the issue is cleared, you force it to reup the files.
