On December 9, 2001, CHENEY announced on NBC's Meet the Press that "it was pretty well confirmed" that lead 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta had met the head of Iraqi intelligence in Prague in April 2001, which statement was, as CHENEY well knew, made without reasonable basis and with reckless disregard for the truth, because it was based on a single witness's uncorroborated allegation that had not been fully investigated by U.S. intelligence agencies.


C. On August 26, 2002, CHENEY made numerous false and fraudulent statements including: "Simply stated there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt that he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies, and against us," when, as CHENEY well knew, this statement was made without reasonable basis and with reckless indifference to the truth in that the IC's then prevailing assessment was that Iraq had neither nuclear weapons nor a reconstituted nuclear weapons program.

It's a crime.

he should be deported and apply for a waiver & permission to enter, just as the US does to people crossing south, even for the oh so serious crime of admitting to smoking pot in the past... Bush needs special permission to enter Canada as well i believe, since he has a conviction...

Status: offline 		In 2007, many Iraqis said they were much better off under Saddam's rule than they were under to US-led coalition. 

Just about the only people who say the Iraqis are better off with rolling black outs, lack of clean water, increased illiteracy (Iraq had had previously a 90% + literacy rate), lack of educational opportunities (under Saddam, if you were smart enough to pass an entrance exam, you went to college for free) and lack of health care (Iraq was one of those nations that provided socialized medicine)...are US officials and RW pundits who are in favor of war and forced democracy.  But hey, lets not let facts get in the way.

You really see the invasion of Iraq as being about their freedom? It was obvious even before they went in that the two primary goals were for Bush to avenge his father and oil. And Cheney made sure his Halliburton buddies profited, so of course he was on board with the idea.
