Just signing up to the site ti help get some insight on this lifestyle. The man I have been with for 3 yrs and absolutely love to pieces has decided that he is a Master, which I am a submissive, enjoy pain, rough turns me own to the point my temp is boiling. I'm willing to try this with him but I am clueless as to what my role will be and the extent of the S&M. Can someone please help me. I have to run to the store and will be back shortly; hope to find some things out before he gets in from work.

Welcome to the site.

As far as your role, well you shouldn't be playing a role. You should be you with your own, unique personality.

As far as s & m, you need to make sure he knows enough to do things safely. Spanking doesn't take much learning about, electric play and needles do. I would suggest you folks join your local community and he takes workshops to learn how to stuff safely.

First off, welcome to the zoo. Don't mind the stalker, he's a bit of a twit.

Nobody here is going to be able to tell you what your role will be or what the extent of S&M your relationship will contain. You'll need to do a lot of talking with your new-found master and figure out together where you want this relationship to go. Just remember this isn't a race. Take your time and enjoy the journey.

I figured out I wanted this stuff in my life a couple of years ago and just set out to meet people and read what I could online. I'd have to say this site more than any other really taught me a lot. Read the threads, or do a search if there is a particular subject you'd like to know about. Good luck with things!

Welcome to CM. Here is some generic advice that may be of some value to you :

Read the forums, all of them. http://www.collarchat.com/m_1726118/tm.htm this is a list of reading material to get you started. Keep in mind anything you read is not a "one true way" and many of the authors will differ in thier views, but reading is no substitute for real life.

Get to some munches. Munches are just vanilla meetings in the ordinary world with like minded people to get to know the people in your area, and learn from thier experience. There is no kinky games, special protocol, or playing done at munches (generally). To find a munch, start by looking http://www.collarchat.com/forumid_17/tt.htm. If you cannot find anything there, google your city, state/province, and the word MUNCH. If you still cannot find anything, head over to fetlife.com and make an account, there are lots of events listed there as well.

Good Luck.

Now as for your "master". have a sit down with him and tell him if he wants to have a slave he needs to get his shit together.
