Termyn8or -> RE: Today Is My 39th Birthday... (9/21/2011 8:06:51 PM)

I got this book. It has news items/headlines month by month back to the year 1900, unfortunately it was published in 1987 so it's only good up until 1986. So, without going to the internet, on the day you were born ; Egypt and Libya agreed on Cairo as a joint capital. Uganda put down an invading force from Tanzania. It was the first week since 1961 until then that no Americans died in Asia (Nam/Korea). Pope John Paul VI had recently abolished the tonsure, a ritual haircut for those who aspire(d) to be a priest. [/] Not from the book - Buick was building the second fastest luxury car I ever owned. (I'm old school, if it had AC that worked it was a luxury car back then) Of course this only applies if this was your first 39th birthday :-) Anyone interseted in what happened the week or month in which they were born can shoot me the date as long as they are between the ages of 24¾ and 110¾. Sorry about the 18 - 24 year olds, the book is too old for them. T^T
