Maybe the reason Ron Paul is not isn`t getting any traction isn`t Ron Paul but rather Ron Paul`s supporters, who are fucking up his chances.

slvemike4u -> RE: Happy Constitution day- Money bomb too! (9/17/2011 7:59:39 AM)

Nope...it's Ron Paul,no one wants to elect an out and out whack job to the office.

Owner59 -> RE: Happy Constitution day- Money bomb too! (9/17/2011 8:55:54 AM)

He`s at #3 in many polls.

He could easily win,still.

The primary is months and months away.A life-time, in the world of politics.

pahunkboy -> RE: Happy Constitution day- Money bomb too! (9/17/2011 8:59:28 AM)

I had to change my voter reg to GOP- so I can vote the PA primary.

Owner59 -> RE: Happy Constitution day- Money bomb too! (9/17/2011 9:29:32 AM)

He`s very beatable.

Said he wouldn`t have gone after bin-laden......

Done.

Is it just me or do Republicans keep electing whack jobs?

Palin, Bachmann, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Perry?

And they are under the delusion that one of these nutcases might become president.

Aside from Romney there is not one viable GOP candidate.

And Romney is already being labeled a RINO by many conservatives.

I don't think it's whacked out not to have gone after Bin Laden....We spent a good portion of the trillions in deficits right now fighting wars that have accomplished exactly what?

In my opinion, Ron Paul is the only one serious about solving the real problems in the U.S. and he's the only one that has realistic solutions. Everyone else across the board is trying to prolong the same party that got us into this mess...and that's the tax and spend party.

Say what you want about Ron Paul, but he's the only candidate that has never voted for any legislation that is unconstitutional, he's the only one that refused to take the Congressional benefits package throughout his entire career, and he's the only one who has acted consistently ethical over his entire career. Maybe real character isn't appreciated, or perhaps it can't even be recognized.

That's really his asset, his consistency, in this case, in not being a foreign interventionist. He sticks to it even if it turns out to be an emotionally unpopular stance, which, this concept of "getting bin laden" is no finer example of.  And for that consistency reason alone, I dont understand why everyone thinks he is a flake. He has a quality the masses should be demanding out of the elected. And I like him for that, it is indeed a rarity in politics.

As long as he is elected to congress (as opposed to a church board), he puts the secular constitution ahead of god issues, and that is something that the Perrys and Bachmanns and Palins of the world FLAT OUT do not do. If anything, he is the lone sane person in the GOP room. Perhaps the liberals and the media are so quick to marginalize him because he doesn't play the same beatable game as the others do.

So you and Paul are in favor of letting foreigners murder us by the thousands with impunity?

So you support the Patriot act?    What happened to trial by jury?

Nevermind.   He who lives by the sword-  dies by the sword.

A lot of people, both the powerless and the powerful, fear freedom. Statism feeds on that fear. Whether it's terrorism, drugs, or retirement plans, many are tired of being afraid. A lot more people have heard of Ron Paul than in 2008, and his consistent support of liberty is more politically viable now that we've had a few more wars and bailouts/stimuli/jobs bills to recover from.

Attacked from every direction and riddled with holes, the greatest document ever written by committee still remains to guide us away from ignorance and oppression. Happy Constitution Day!

prior to the courts usurpation then the counterfeit congress casting it in concrete 1861-68, I would agree.

changing free as in unenfranchised people into subject-citizens is not my idea of freedom

statists aka the deMOBcracy feeds on anything that advances THEM

Not sure what you are trying to say here.

But you do know we did get Bin Laden, right?

But Ron Paul's solutions are idiotic.

They are ideological nonsense without any substance and any chance of ever working in practice.

But it does get libertarian's dicks hard.

Real0ne -> RE: Happy Constitution day- Money bomb too! (9/18/2011 4:53:12 AM)

we?

got a mouse in your pocket?

The locals said bin laden did not live there.

they buried him at sea in an under cover burial.

No public examination of the body.

yeh and pigs fucking fly

You know its true because here is a picture:

Or perhaps it is because his ideas won't work in the real world.
