You're fucking kidding right? Manilow's lounge act is and has been in the dumper for 15 years at a minimum. This past week he's apparently rationalized that if he starts "coming out for shit" it will revive his tragic candy-ass pop career. He's come out for cancer, and I think heart disease in the past week or tow as well.
   In fact, if you drop trou in the lounge of a major casino in vegas, he'll come out for your dick[:D]

The guy is a publicity horror show and this simply adds to the utter lunacy of Ron Paul's bid for the presidency. Read my lips, the republican party won't let him.

Ron Paul will never become a president even if he would win elections. Still, having him as a candidate is very good thing. The media blackout is funny. I heard this morning a talk show discussing GOP race: hot exciting competition between Perry and Romney. No mention of Ron Paul whatsoever. The first problem Ron Paul has is fat, on drugs America, common sense lost. The second, the robber baron elites would ensure he will not survive winning (stay alive).

Ron Paul, no matter what you think of him, would make a better President than any other candidate they would ever put out there.

But it is not going to happen. This money bomb shit, well it better be big even for a ghost of a chance. I think if Ron Paul outspent all the other candidates combined by a factor of twenty he might have a chance at assassinaton. In the event of him getting elected the only way to prevent an assassination would be to have either Kevin Strom or David Duke as Vice President.

And that might not even work.

Termy's got it about right.  I agree that on principle he leaves the rest of the GOP field behind in their fairy dust cloud of warmongering, god and social conservative causes - all that empire building, masters of the universe bullshit that has derailed the GOP from the Goldwater days. And if by some chance he gets elected, he will most certainly be visited by the same people who dropped in on Mr. Hopeychangey and forced a reset of his post-election priorities.

I just wish the Ron Paul people would stop using the word 'bomb' in their fundraising.  It conjures up an improper image for the man. Someone please pass that note on to the campaign boss, eh?
