Due to "lack of room", NYC Police Officers, PA (Port of Authority,NY-NJ) PD Police Officers and FDNY Firefighters are not invited to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero. They weren't invited on that day in 2001 either. They just showed up. Please re-post if you think they belong more than the Politicians who are invited!! free

The only pol with any skin in the game is Giuliani and he should be there despite the opinions to the contrary. Former President Bush perhaps. ALL the others without exception should do the classy thing and surrender their seats/standing space. Most won't though...unless embarassed into it. It's absolutely disgusting. Maybe they should set up a red carpet runway and introduce them individually for photo ops....like the Academy Awards. Disgusting. MC

He did not just stand around and drink coffee. Virtually every New Yorker I know and there are both family members and hundreds from my industry - all feel Giuliani's presence helped get them and their city through what happened that day. MC
