I saw this on CNN and then found the local news video link online. http://www.walb.com/story/15310297/the-dog-ate-my-dimaonds-really Personally, I think the dog (a male) was rebelling against his name - Honeybun. :D

I had assumed the dog was a lab. I clicked on the link and no, it is a pom. We had a part pom and he ate a half of a deep-dish lemon meringue pie once (On Thanksgiving). It is amazing what dogs will eat. At least it was not a Popsicle stick. [8\|]

Labs eat everything. A lab wouldn't have left the empty pouch, he'd have scarfed down the diamonds in their wrapping.

My ozzie was a black lab (misses my demon child terribly). He wouldnt eat everything. lol would always make me laugh to watch a 150 lb black lab pick mushrooms out of table scraps.

my old cat ate anything,crisps,fries,cheese, the filling of a coronation baguette while I was on the phone only yards away( corontion chicken is a lightly curried chicken with bits of fruit) and I once found him on the cooker with his paw in a very hot chilli con carne while it was cooking edit for spelling like a 5 year old

Having cats during my kiddiehood, I had always known them to be very finicky eaters.

My cat would only ever eat whipped cream haha, she loved it! My aussie shepherd would have spent all day trying to get the bag open then scattered the diamonds all over the house playing with them
