It isn't the fault of conservatives that his words are empty. I'll ask you what I've asked others though. Do you think the vast gulf between what Obama said, vs. what Obama has done, is because he's just lying every moment of every day, because he really wants it to be true, but is utterly incompetent to accomplish any of it, or because he's foolishly (dangerously?) naive, and completely lacking any sort of ability to learn?

Perhaps we should all adopt TheHeretic's and Sanity's rhetoric as a baseline in "civil tones'. My guess is that, it we were to do so, we would all be moderated within a week. So let's stay with our usual level of civility and hope that friends on the looney right might actually elevate their rhetoric (and content) to something approaching our level one day ........ I know it's a challenge and a steep learning curve for them but please join me in wishing them success in rising to the challenge.
