I have never seen THIS before. Maybe some of you have seen it, but I think it's pretty cool and oh so simple. As soon as you see it you get one of those "duhhh.....why didn't I think of that?" moments.

Slick design. And it would make it much easier for young children to figure out how to eat spaghetti.

I want a set of those.

I guess it beats my Million Dollar Idea (tm) which is a digital filter to erase John Madden's voice from Monday Night Football.

emmm, not for me... I neatly and precisely cut my spagetti on the plate so its short bits and will stay on my fork without splattering me with sauce from turning the fork too fast!

But I dont eat noodles/spaget much anyway..

I had an analog filter that did axactly that when it was broadcast on ABC. Details on request.

But G2, people eat too many carbs. It may be a million dollar idea but it is not good for people.

YIK ! You might as well use a spoon. What's more why don't you just use rice or macaroni. Spaghetti is SUPPOSED to be different. You wreck the whole thing doing that.

I don't care how fucking good your sauce is.

BTW, anyone want my recipe ?

Oh no, no, no! I could never use a spoon for spagetti, that would just be childish.

Its been a long time since i have had that tho,.. it was more when my ex cooked or we went out at a restaurant..

I agree, people get too many carbs, especially the processed kind.

Thanks, but no thanks. Analog filters are more expensive, more difficult to manage and you just can't market analog anything anymore.

This probably the first time I ever agreed with Termyn8tor, but he's right (mark your calendars.) Long pasta has a completely different feel on the palate and a different appeal on the eye than orzo and macaroni.

To quote an old Japanese chef saying, "The first bit is with the eyes." That's how they've managed to sell us raw fish for so many years.

Sure, it's not that hard to twirl spaghetti, but it's probably better to use the twirly thing than to twist your wrists so much. Especially if you are a coder who works at a keyboard all day. Repetitive Stress Disorder is like the black lung disease for programmers.

Just a couple of OP AMPs, you mean we can't handle that anymore ?

ABC used to mix the announcers in the L+R and the crowd noise in the L-R. I had a (vari)matrix quad system, which is about the same as surround today if there is no effect. Dolby has no rights to this although people think they do. Simple L-R to the rear. Well I replaced the front source with the feed from the FM tuner, which has/d much better announcers because they figure on the rdio you can't see. Madden was not in the "picture". Unfortunately this only worked on Mondy night from ABC.

You should've heard the crowd noise ! People cussing and swearing and shit. The crowd for real. I always cranked up that component. What's more I had one of the original Advent five foot silver screen TVs, projection and MINE WORKED RIGHT. I mean no color fringes and it was bright and sharp and even the COMB filter was in good alignment.

Yeah, analog sucks, but they still haven't come out with a truly digital blowjob.

Yeah, it's just a couple of Op-Amps, but wiring them costs money. You can get DSPs and microprocessors for so cheap these days that it just isn't worth the hassle.

Besides: It's Digital! That Means It's Better!

Transistorized And Half The Price!

See, all my Hi-Def equipment replaced my Hi-Fi equipment. Using an analog filter would be downgrading. And i would never want to downgrade. That would be like going from Vista to XP. Wait a second...

Actually, I don't watch football unless I'm with my brothers, and they moved out of state. I'm not what you would call a "sports guy."

Hey, at least I didn't mention *spits* WinME or MSBob.

Those "operating systems" were too perverted for even a site devoted to perversion of all sorts. Beating women? Making slaves eat dogfood? Cutting your partner with knives? Those all pale in comparison to making a perfectly innocent machine run WinME against it's will.

That's why I'm not going to mention them.

Gaskackapuuhey, poohey !

It may not be in the TOS here but I think it is against the unwritten laws to mention ummm, you know that OS that was, ummm came out a little before XP but after 2000. You know the one.

I was so happy with 98SE I never fell into that trap, and EVERYONE who did, thanked me for reloading their PCs.

Thiose were the days, back when I could at least start to understand these things. Would you like to see some icons I made in an actual hex editor ? Really, 1F, 2D and shit. Manually.
