i have no idea why this is "general bdsm discussion." it's about a lady with stomach cancer; pretty sure that's non-consensual. i would probably do what she did; pick my most favorites (it would be hard to pick one) and go around and try them all. if had knowledge, time, and money, like she had, i wouldn't limit myself to just one. you don't know what you've got till it's gone, as they say...

I think if I knew I were dieing the last thing on my mind would be food. But for the sake of the question I now want.....The shrews lasagna(because I really do like lasagna), served by Old hens biker(because I like them too) and fed to me by my favortie pet (because I'm taking him with me when I go anyway)

A tasting menu with everything I like in tiny portions. Boneless or semi boned quail. A little salad with a poached egg. Lobster in any form. Rack of lamb split among the family. Asparagus. Potatoes Anna. Sorbet or gelato or some ice cream to finish. Maybe a sliver of a blueberry tart or chocolate cake.

this woman's stomach is being removed, so, for her, she feels she's losing the enjoyment of food. in the article she uses the word "we," so i assume she went with her family. but for her it's about some last moments savoring solid food and enjoying a meal; the different textures and flavors, and feeling full. her quality of life may not be improved at all by the stomach removal (it doesn't say if it's a total removal, or partial, but either way, she won't be able to enjoy food the way she did again). transplants are rare and usually only in conjunction with a bunch of other organs, so it's unlikely she'll be able to get a new one. if i was going to lose my legs tomorrow, i'd walk everywhere i could, just to hold onto the memory a little bit longer. it would matter where i walked; i'd like to stand in water, feel sand and sun against my legs. walk in a pasture and feel the grass brush against me. i guess the food tour was similar for her.

Well bugger then.......as the meal I'd like, I had in France. So, best foot forward........ I'd have to make do with M cooking and producing, in his inimitable style, the following..... BIG plate of crab, lobster and all and any shell fish small and large, (especially cockles and winkles )(but excluding whelks which are clearly an aquired taste.) Fois gras on anything. Not fussy at all as long as Fois Gras is on it or in it. I eat it now, so I'm not going to get all pc when I'm about to pop my clogs. St Agur on anything. A lot of it. Until I can't stand it. ....and if I haven't thrown up by then.... some kind of delicious pudding...... like cheesecake, rasberry or lemon. (Not sure as I haven't had a pudding in years) agirl
