Status: offline 		I don't believe in all that Christian, Catholic/ Protestant view of heaven where it's 1, "hot" 2. noisy and unorganized or 3, where everyone is buried up to their necks in shit and some demon or other is using your head for a golf tee.
I mean think about it, would that be bad enough for Hitler?
If every religion has their own version of "hell" then how can there be one? If it did exist wouldn't it be "consistent" across *all* religions?
Sounds to me like it's more about control by religions.
We don't know what "happens" after death. We're still waiting for Harry Houdini to come back and tell us.

Hell would be where you kill thousands to get a place then be forced to wait in practically endless lines going from one bureaucrat to another before finally being allowed your 72 mansions with 72 homes with 72 sheets on 72 beds with 72 virgin slaves...

That would mean that the psychopathic would auto achieve heaven. If the consequences don't directly impact the self some people just don't actually care, and no amount of eye-opening can actually force them to care, without fundamentally changing who they are. That actually argues that death changes us all into the same person who actually does care about others and thus when shown the consequences of that life's actions, finds them intolerable or tolerable.

Besides being handed that sort of insight and awareness just for finishing life is a little too easy and pat for my tastes. To me, hell would be a being who is conscious after death. At least wipe the memory and send it back into life in a new form. It's just a waste of energy to maintain all of those death consciousnesses just so they could navel pick their short moral lives for the rest of time.

Hell could also being having to talk to DomiGuy for 15 minutes per day but that kind of thing would be reserved for Pol Pot and the like.
