You are both very welcome!

I was immediately reminded of those old animated screen savers that looked like a fish tank. Well now we can have a live fish tank on our computer!

Thank you, it's so peaceful watching the fish swim about.

I wish there was a way to identify all the creatures without having to google vague descriptions! LOL

ETA: until just now, I hadnt really gotten an idea of the scale... a diver just showed up in the tank.. DAMN that thing is a lot bigger than I expected!

I love it, thanks!

Reminds me of standing in front of the huge panorama window that the aquarium at Burgers Zoo in Arnhem has. An overwhelming experience each time.

Very cool.... thanks so much for the link. Because it's promoting Shark Week (which I love), it reminded me of when my kids were little ... we were alway at the beach during Shark week. We would spend our time on the beach and in the water and then go in at night and watch the shows during Shark Week.

I got there after the lights went out.....but I'll go back.  I love Shark Week!  I'll miss it this year. no cable....at war w/comcast.  I'd love to see one in the open ocean.

A couple of guys that I worked with at the FHP were Navy......one said that they'd go up in the choppers along the coast, and that if people actually KNEW what was in the water a little farther out, they'd never go in!  You could see the sharks from the air.  The attacks that happened here in the past few years were all bull sharks.....they are far more dangerous than whites.  More tenacious....they tend to bite and hold on, whereas the White will let go.  AND they can go from salt to fresh water without any difficulty.....we have the St John's River thatis fed by the ocean.  I've seen dolphins there, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a bull shark in it either!

Ever since I saw Jaws, I've been fascinated by sharks.....do you know they are one of the few animal species that don't get cancer?  Researchers have been trying to see if there's something in their system that can help human bodies destroy cancer cells the way they do in sharks.  I just hope htey aren't fished out and killed off, several species are already threatened.  The Japanese catch them, fin them and dump the bodies back in the ocean.  Assholes!  And you'd be surprised how much seafood on menus in areas isn't what it is advertised as...it's shark!
