Status: offline 		oohh...insolias...thanks for the heads up. I've never heard of them but I think I'm going to buy a pair and try them. I love wearing heels and I'll continue to wear them despite the pain but anything that will make it a little more comfortable is always welcome!

Status: offline 		I would love to wear heels. I think womens legs look really good in them ..... but I'm a klutz! I can fall over my feet walking down a bare hall. I hate to think what I could do to myself in heels - well, actually, i'm thinking plaster casts and walking boots.

So , that would be one dom that wouldn't work for me. *le sigh* and he would probably be the best one in the world.

I'm one of those creeps who wants _almost_ 24/7 heel wearing. I am aware of the medical problems. I always allow some time off. Taking a shower or going swimming are obvious occasions.

Doing chores in heels isn't all that hard, unless you've got kids. I know this because I wore a pair of 4" gold stilettos when my ex complained about me making her wear heels. I looked FANTASTIC (if anyone was wondering.) Ladies: even the most hardcore Dom isn't going to make you plow the back 40 in a pair of stilettos.

Also, I am a big fan of canoing. A pair of stiletto heels will go right through the bottom of a canoe. It's really hard to look sexy in heels while bailing for your life.

As far as sheets are concerned: It's well worth the price. And a sharp stiletto across my shins in the middle of the night? I love it. It makes me cuddle the slave closer. You know what cuddling is, right? It's what we do in between the whippings and handcuffs. I hear some girls like that.

I will say this: when I do keep a slave in heels for a long time she goes through several shoe changes. We could say that it's about health issues (gangrene?!) but it's really because the smell gets to me. Also, read my entry on the other side: I am always willing to go shoe shopping with a woman. I own a pair of boots, two pairs of sneakers, river shoes and a pair of dress shoes. Yet I've spent thousands of dollars on shoes.

So my thought on this subject is: Of course nothing can be 24/7. But the thought is there. Who here can tell me that pretty girls don't look prettier in a pair of heels?

Although, to be completely honest, I'm not a big fan of stockings. Those should be saved for special occasions. Preferably times when I'm not around because the feel of a womans leg under my hand is much better than silk or fishnet.

Status: offline 		you can't honestly say that wearing heels once for jollies and then taking them off and going back to loafers is the same as being made to wear them 24/7. guys do that all the time; try something once and then say "it's not that bad!" while also quickly returning to life without whatever the "something" was. =p

going to have to look into these insolia inserts -- sounds interesting! ^_^ $20 for three pairs isn't toooo heinous of a price either.

i flipping love high heels. i like to wear them, stare at them, check out other chicks who are wearing them. i can run in them for short distances. =p they sure make your legs look nice. but i don't imagine even insolias can prevent the foot/joint damage from wearing them constantly. they're a "special occasion" shoe for a reason.

sure we all do things that wear us down over time. that's called "life and aging." but in a way this is akin to making someone pick up smoking because it turns you on -- you know it's bad for them, but still, it's so hot! =p

*redacted for personal information* It was the gay prom (I was dating a (female) teacher,) I was wearing a tuxedo and golden shoes. I wore them to bed that night, and the next day I made omelettes still wearing the shoes.

Quite frankly, well made high heels are waaaaaaaaaayyyy easier to wear than the most expensive ski boots.

The trick is to not walk in them the way the experts tell you to. Heel down first makes a nice clicking sound and tells your lover, "Hey listen! I'm wearing heels!" It's also painful as all hell. Put the sole down first and relax into the heel coming down. Any hunter can tell you that you don't stomp around the woods smashing your heels into the ground. Well, any successful hunter.

Toe first, then heel. Unless you want to sound like a slut walking around in heels: not that I would complain about that.

Also: buy the expensive shoes, poorly fitted shoes cause most of the problems listed.

I wore a pair when I took a friend to a bar on halloween a very long time ago, two hours in i was like, "ok this is some bullshit I dunno how the ladies do this." If you are up for it knock yourself out I guess. I would never have a pet wear a pair unless we are going out or she is wearing her wasteland outfit. I much prefer them barefoot in the house anyway, easier get rugburn all the way down the leg with nothing to prop them up.

24/7 probably is possible, as long as you keep your feet up regularly and have an attentive partner

Once a friend of mine and I were sitting at the table, she was looking at a shoe/boot catalog. She keep showing me all these great boots. I agree that 24/7 heels is unrealistic and potentially harmful but I can mention my general "rule" about such things.

Heels to be worn whenever standing/walking on a reasonably flat, non slippery surface.

Which gives many opportunities for not wearing them,sitting on the floor(pets aren't allowed on the furniture), showering, sleeping etc.).

Any one that thinks making a slave wear heels 24/7 isn't thinking straight nor are they thinking about keeping their slave healthy and strong, so that she can be the best she can be for her owner for as many years as possible.

I live in the woods and in a location where heels are impossible to wear for 6+ months of the year due to climate(ice/snow) so I'm realistic about when/where she can wear heels.

Status: offline 		To women who believe that a dress code requiring closed toed shoes and stockings when a dress is worn is unreasonable- I lived and worked in Dallas for 30 years, was self employed and always wore long pants, closed toed shoes ( often boots) and socks. Often I was working outside. Was a homebuilder and most of the sub contractors were dressed similarly. Before air conditioning, in the fifties, became prevelant, men and women worked in unairconditioned offices, the men in long sleeved shirts and with ties on and the women always in dresses, hose and shoes with relatively high heels ( not flats or sandals) The fact is that today, most people are more worried about their personal comfort than whether they look professional in their jobs.

If one watches TV "news" programs in the summer, many women anchors wear skimpy dresses without hose and practically nothing on underneath or slacks while the men are almost always in suits with ties. Just because men set the dress codes does not mean they are unreasonable.
