I dont have eyes that wild, I get nasty migraines,I can feel for her, but, precisely because I have those similar  sensations, I dont see how she can escape the stress inducing crap, and that is not a good idea for a leader of the free world.

I dislike Bachmann but this is over the line.

I had an aunt who suffered from migraines and a good friend who still has the problem.

I think she is insane but I don't think it has anything to do with her headaches or the medication she is taking for them.

Yes, but neither of them were raving mad idiots with a sense of entitlement and a bible stuffed so far up their arse they could taste it.

I never like hearing news of someone's illnesses and injuries. We either all have something, or will soon have something. Regardless of the political spectrum. When I heard that Glenn Beck suffers from some sort of eye problem that will only grow worst with time, I felt sorry for the guy. Dont get me wrong, I dislike his brand of politics and outlook on most things. But that's not a reason enough to wish harm on the fellow (or take delight in his misery/suffering). Rep. Michelle Bachmann is in the same exact boat. Dont like her, hate her brand of politics, but sadden to hear for her illness.

On one hand, I hope she can get some help so the suffering is largely reduced. On the other, something like this would make me pause the consideration of her future office. If these imgranines are the result of intensive stress and heavy emotions, perhaps the Office of the President isn't in her best interests. We have the medical history and knowledge to know that whomever is President suffers a huge mental, emotional, and perhaps, spiritual headache everyday. The job isn't meant to be easy, and anyone that thinks differently is just fooling themselves. Seriously, if her medical condition is that severe, she SHOULDN'T be running for federal office as President. Its not fair to the country or its people.

There are a million reasons to make fun of Michelle Bachmann...her medical problems aren't one of them.

You sound as ignorant as the people who call Obama a Muslim socialist named O'derpwhatever right now.

I think it is ludicrous to compare a condition that is mentally debilitating with the conditions that FDR or JFK experienced. As far as I know, FDR faced his disability without pain killers, and he was one strong persevering SOB to use his upper body strength to make is legs move.... I saw a documentary about him recently, I am frankly in awe of the man... and he was a man in every sense of the word. Today most would be running to the doctor for more oxycotin if they faced even a 10th of the pain he endured.

Jesus Christ, folks.  I take 2 meds every damn day to (try) to control my migraines. Sometimes I have to take 3 to stop a headache (naprosyn, Migranal, and reglan).  Yes, I have been in the ER for a migraine, to get IV depakote (sometimes followed by magnesium) and non-narcotic pain relievers like toradol (I usually drive myself to the hospital).

Heavy duty medications don't necessarily mean narcotics.
