I think lashing out verbally in anger is destructive and abusive, actually. 

For me, outside the context of anger, the nastier the better.  It feeds the animal in me.  But to launch such words in a state of wrath can be dangerous and harmful.  There are far better ways to make one's point.

My all-time favorite is the oh-so-traditional "Mine"...I went to see A Perfect Circle in concert and they do a song titled "Mine", I attended collared, and my Master pulled my collar and whispered "Mine" in my ear each time they sang it - if I'd been allowed to I would have come right there in the middle of everyone.  I like slut too.  I think it's His tone of voice more than the words themselves though - He could call me pretty much anything and I'd like it.

I often find that it depends on my partner. Names I've used for my submissive partners in the past included slut, whore, bitch, little girl, MY slut, MY little girl, and for one girl, whom I played with who was seriously into humiliation, I called her fuckpuppet.
