Him sitting down on the edge of the bed, with me laying across his lap. I enjoy the closeness of his body while he is spanking me in that position. If I am bending over furniture, I feel wood or cloth instead and really, I prefer being able to feel his warmth and presence under me. Being in that position also makes me feel more vulnerable. Finally, even though I enjoy a good spanking, it still hurts, and I have a tendency to try and squirm away. If I am in his lap, its easier for him to prevent this, which allows me to enjoy his spanking for longer AND to be forcefully dominated, which is hot!

Hmm...for receiving, bent over hands on the wall worked for when she didn't want me squirming, or tied to a cross or spanking horse for when she wanted to see me wiggle a bit...for inflictiung, I like OTK or kneeling ass-in-the-air on the bed so that I can walk around and "attack" the situation from different angles. Also had some good results having my partner bent over the kitchen table (it was just exactly right to rest her torso on without bending her knees).

Bent over something or across his lap, or lying down. Standing up I worry about falling. None of this bend over and hold your ankles stuff, I just know I'll be sprawled on the floor in a minute. If I'm worrying about keeping my position, I'm not in the headspace I need to be.

Over his knee is a favourite especially when i start getting uncomfortable and start squirming and he wraps a leg around me to hold me in place. Second to that is bent over anything that i can clench on to tightly.

For those mentioning OTK, and wrapping a leg around to keep in place...could you give greater detail or perhaps a picture. I've personally never done this, and am having a really hard time picturing how this would work (in my brain, those words make the couple look like a pretzel and clumsily fall off the sitting surface).
