Senator Inhofe (you can guess the party) will introduce a law reducing the FAA and NTSB's authority in dealing with pilots who are dangerous.

Why does Inhofe want to do this? Because he is a dangerous pilot who almost killed a bunch of construction workers last year.

Jeeesus. When they built a new runway here in Dayton, there was a huge, lit, flashing X at either end of the construction zone. You'd have to be a stone idiot to land on a closed runway in the midst of a construction zone.

It's been done before by commercial and military pilots, and they were soundly spanked by regulators.
