That WAS my medical opinion.

NeedToUseYou -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 12:30:49 AM)

That is a condition known a aphiliziac endochronitis velum.

The cure fortunately is pretty straight forward.

It relies on several rare compounds in the banana, and the quick absorbtion rate offered by the anal cavity, coupled with direct exposure to sunlight.

So, first take a banana and work it up your anal cavity, leaving enough exposed for an assistant to squeeze later.
Second walk outside completely unclothed, as to maximize sunlight exposure.
Third, you will need to increase your heart rate to further increase the uptake of the banana compounds, so once you have located a comfortable spot, preferably next to a busy intersection (in case further assistance is required, or EMT's need to be called), start stroking your penis, and take a second banana and smear that on your penis and balls, this will help with the uptake to a minor degree. Save the peel.

Now, as you do this, you will noticeably feel better, generally about 10-20 seconds after becoming fully erect, in the sunlight. This means the banana nutrients are beginning to be absorbed through your skin!

You will continue to do this, hopefully a crowd will have formed to encourage you by now, until you reach climax.

It is critical that you have a partner grab the banana that you have inserted in your ass, and squeeze it hard at the moment of ejaculation, the inner core of the banana should exit the skin complete and be 100% inside your rectum. This is necessary as at that time, your body is at it's most heightened state and well immediately absorb most of the banana nutrients and compounds.

Once you do this sit on the curb, and rub your ejaculate onto either of the banana peels, the ejaculate will bond with the compounds in the banana peel, to form a restorative agent, that will help clear clogged arteries, and blockages. You should violently rub the banana peel on your face, neck and scalp, then run in circles and scream violently to increase blood flow, while hitting yourself in the nuts (this will cause a release of endorphins, that will promote uptake).

Afterwords you should immediately run as fast as you can into the nearest woods and bury yourself in fresh unpolluted soil. As this will facilitate the removal of any toxins that will be forced loose during the previous process.

After the swelling in your nuts goes down, and the banana in your rectum is evacuated (Please try to hold the banana in your anal cavity for 24 hours), you should feel better.

Either that or you could ask a doctor.

"After collecting the lunch trays, my stomach became rather suddenly upset. I sat down, and became very flushed in the face and ears."

Get checked out.

That said I would ignore it. Sometimes people have such an imbalance or something sometimes that this happens. Why did they invent smellig salts ? Women would faint all the time. I am not saying that you are a Woman, but they didn't drop dead last night. For the last hundred years.

Whatever you do, do not let this become a source of anxiety. You know I passed out in first grade for no apparent reason. We figuerd because I was in a crowd, maybe there wasn't enough oxygen or something. Whatever it was, it only happened a couple times since then in my entire life, and one of those times I was partying.

And the rest of yall listen up. He is not here to get fucking told to go to the doctor. If he was he would have just gone to the fucking doctor. Don't you all see that ?

WTF.

tazzygirl -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 1:18:52 AM)

Dont WTF me, T. Me telling him to go to the Doctor is the only choice I have. Telling him not to worry about it isnt the answer. He should worry. And, frankly, I happen to enjoy having my nursing license. It doesnt entitle me to tell someone nothing is wrong with them. Petite Mal Seizures are the kind where you dont pass out, you dont start flailing around.

quote:

I have yet to see a doctor about it, and I was curious if anyone here has any experience or knowledge on seizures and can give me some info. Much appreciated.

Thats what he was given. Information to go to the Dr. Atypical seizures can mimic a petite mal... except they last longer, which his did.

Lazarus, Im not telling you that what you had was a petite mal seizure. But it is a possibility. Read the link, then decide for yourself. I still suggest you go get checked out.

Termyn8or -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 1:36:15 AM)

If it happens to me I ain't doing jack shit. I told what I would do. I didn't claim to be a doctor.

I threatened to shoot my Mother if she tried to force me to go to a doctor when I was sick. And I mean I couldn't walk almost. I could barely make it to the bathroom, most of the time.

When it reads Dr. Terminator, then you got something to say. I would blow it off unless it happens again. You disagree ? Fine. You go get a fucking CAT scan every time you get a headache. That is the reason I am against socialized medicine. I am only for it because it would be cheaper. But really, I think people should pay doctors in cash, like $20 for an office visit and up to maybe $40 for a house call. Fucking chicken littles might be the reason healthcare in this country costs $400 a fucking month for a single healthy person. With luck.

It sounds just like my first panic attack was. I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but I would definitely recommend you see a doctor about it.

DesFIP -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 8:19:25 AM)

Sounds like a TIA to me. Get thee to a neurologist and quickly.

Termyn8or -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 8:27:24 AM)

FR

I will add : I said what I would do, if you are worried about it and have the coverage you have nothing to lose by going in. I'm just saying that I wouldn't sweat it. Go in, seriously. If it causes you anxiety in the long run that might be worse.

And, if it EVER happens again, don't hesitate.

Don't be pissed just because I am one of those caveman types.

He said he hadn't been to a doctor yet, and asked if anyone had experience of knowledge of seizures. Many who have medical backgrounds have given advice. I mentioned panic attacks, because I thought I was having some sort of seizure when I first had them.

Without going to a doctor, he will not know what is going on. Everyone here knows that, except you.

So never discuss medical issues prior to the DR appointment.  Never compare notes with others to get an idea on how to frame your plan of action.

Even if his appointment is in 3 hours-  he should not ask others on the topic.

He asked for the experiences of others about his seizures.   I gave him a very brief synopsis of my experience and added that seeing a doctor is important for dealing with them.

I didn't hear the OP go off in the manner you have.   Furthermore, if a person thinks that they are having seizures then they NEED to see the doctor and it morally wrong for me to simply tell a person something else.   Seizures are a symptom of a number of things and several of them are life threatening.

Your posts to this thread remind me of the thread with the college girl who keeps going back to the Dom college boy despite her dislike of her own behavior.   She didn't want to hear what others had to say unless they endorsed her empowerment of her abuser..........

Sound advice is often what you don't want to hear.  Get over it.

Wow, I did not expect this much attention to my post. Thanks to all that responded. I was not looking for directions, I know enough to know that I should consult with a doctor. I was simply looking for experiences, information.

angelikaJ -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 2:57:49 PM)

My experience with seizures:
(aside from working with folks for more than 10 years who had them)

For more than 10 years I had odd sensations very similar to yours but they lasted a very brief period and were very hard to articulate.
The biggest difference was that I did not have any confusion afterward.
What I did have was the foreboding sense that it was going to happen (which was often preceded by a general feeling of deja vu) and then this intense and very unpleasant fleeting sensation that lasted less than 30 seconds.

I did finally discuss it with a physician a number of years ago who has a neurology background and she said they sounded like autonomic seizures to her.

In March of this year I had a completely different experience: I had gotten up in the middle of the night and when I went back to bed I had a visual disturbance that was accompanied by an uh oh feeling but I get that when I get ocular migraines.
What I hadn't had before was a sudden sense of my body feeling very wrong to me and I couldn't move. When I could move I felt intensely nauseous and dizzy and I did go to the ER.
They ruled out things such as a TIA or stroke.
It may have been a more involved mild form of seizure or, my regular physician thinks it was an atypical migraine.

Anyway, I know how scary the unexpected is.
I am glad you are following through.

SerendipityWM -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 3:10:16 PM)

I doubt it was a stroke, to be honest, atheroma doesn't build up in the capillaries of people with a healthy lifestyle and a good diet and without the build up of lipoproteins it's unlikely a clot would form. It might be a bit too simple to be the truth, but perhaps it was due to the heat in the UK recently (if it was actually hot on that day, that is, this is a bit of a shot in the dark). Hardly an expert opinion, unfortunately, but if you're looking for assurance of some sort I think the NHS direct website can sometimes offer an initial diagnosis (albeit not an incredibly sound one).

I concur that you should see a doctor.

Did you take a vitamin B complex on an empty stomach? My first thought was Niacin flush, which has happened to me. Seizures have not. I have no medical training.

Unh huh, so why haven't you?

Not that I care. I mean, I did but not anymore. You got what you asked for, you were given information, in some cases based on personal experience, to the effect that you could be taking a serious risk here, and that you need to find out if something is going on. You're welcome.

Now fuckkit, have a nice day.

Good deal on following up with your doctor.

JstAnotherSub -> RE: Seizures (7/7/2011 6:41:31 PM)

anjelica, I used to get thsoe migraines.  No pain, just a prism of different colors, that started as a dot on one side, then turned to a circle and traveled across my entire field of vision.  The edges were kinda like this^^^^^^^^^^ and I would feel plum strange.

After much testing from a neurologist, he told me what it was.  He assured me it would not kill me, I assured him if it did I would haunt him forever.  He put me on some meds, I can not even recall what they were now, and I took them for about 8 months.  After a month or so without an episode, he took me off the meds.

Now I might get 1 a year, if that.  I have to just let it flow, and normally I can work right through it, although I have to look off to one side, the back to center and I have a moment before it floats back to the center.

The neurologist I saw was an old hippie type dude.  I got the giggles when he told me that it wasn't dangerous, I think partially from sheer relief.  When he asked me what was so funny, I told him it cracked me up that in the 70's I spent money to see purdy colors like that, and now, in the 90's, I was spending money to make it go away.

Life is good aint it?
