This isn't bad though.......Binder clips, hair clips, etc. have a much better bite.
Chip clips are terrific, if you don't mind that they tend to be somewhat bulky and large. And most of the vanilla folks I know have clothespins around, lots of them hang up laundry to dry on clotheslines out here, and clothespins are indecently handy in the kitchen for keeping bags of stuff like chips and frozen veggies and brown sugar and flour closed. And for how much bite clothespins have, it depends on what KIND of clothespins. There are half size wooden ones sold for crafting that are very mild. Regular size wooden ones can have a decent bite, and regular size plastic ones are just evil. Then, if you can find them, is the whole category of tarp clamps....
Whisks are fun. Plastic and nylon spatulas and serving spoons, and I LOVE the big rubber bands that are used to hold stuff like stalks of broccoli and asparagus together; decorative rope more commonly used with draperies... Plastic coated wire from dead headsets and other small gadgets can be made into a truly WICKED small flogger with a bit of flame to seal the cut ends of the wires and some electrical or duct tape to hold it together. The handles of blinds make decent short term impromptu canes, but tend to break rather easily. Sections of fishing rod with the loops you run the line through are good too.
In the spice cabinet are more fun things. Cinnamon oil (the kind used to make candies, NOT the stuff for potporri) mixed with vegetable oil or body lotion will heat things up in a hurry! Peppermint is good to cool things back off again. Both of these should be used with care as it's easy to cause blistering and rashes with them.
Small paint stir sticks, fly swatters (well cleaned please! or never used to actually swat bugs); mop and broom handles can make decent spreader bars if whoever is doing the ropework is good at it. As for rope, there are pretty much always bungee cords and various nylon sorts of rope and tie down straps around. Monofilament fishing line is GREAT for stringing between and from clamplike items to hang weights from and/or to anchor said clamplike items to something immovable. Also works well, with care, as nipple nooses. Wouldn't try it on anything below the belt, however, nor to bind wrists or ankles. Never used duct tape or electrical tape for bondage though, might have to give one or both of those a try. Not too sure how electrical tape would work out, it's very stretchy.
I could go on and on. I'm very good at perverting everyday stuff.
