It's surely not domestic abuse if it's a consentual part of the relationship, women in Scotland know what they are getting specially in somewhere like Goven.

Jeez, maybe he doesn't need any more film roles! Well, my mother stopped fancying him when he went bald, anyway. (Though, I've read recently that he went bald even before starting to play Bond - what you see is a toupee)

personally, regardless of his attitude (and how do we kow if his attitude ISNT based on a d/s credo? not exactly soemthing you would say to the millions, is it?..slapping ones wife, though.. that would resonate with shitloads of folks - for whatever reason, good or bad - and so be more likely to pass public consumption), I'll happily watch him in anything he appears in, and I also happen to think he is a lot better looking now than during his Bond years,. ok, that was probably quite random and rambling, but I do hope I got my main point across (which WAS NOT about my preferences regarding his physical appearance)
