If he won't do that, I'll be happy to link you to David Duke... is that close enough?[:D]

including many who rushed to judgement very loudly here on these boards.

I don't know about the obligation anyone here has to 'beat a retreat' If we were fed a line of shit, we sat at the table with a many millions of people.
I don't see it as the fault of anyone here if they objected to a pretty nasty behavior, as long as, ONCE SUFFICIENT FACTS ARE MADE PUBLIC, to offer an apology or retract anything.
I think perhaps the media are the entities in need of the 'hasty retreat' and apology... Good luck extracting that.

This morning's ABC(Australia) news tells me DSK has been released without bail. Given this it seems likely the charges will be withdrawn soon.

It's supposed to be a principle of justice that : Every person is innocent until proven guilty. The proof has to be provided to a court of law, not the media. When the case was first reported my reaction was "it looks bad for DSK" but I said nothing. I preferred to wait until the legal process concluded before forming judgement. Experience tells me that cases with significant political overtones are rarely black and white. Those who chose to form judgements prematurely are now paying the price.

If you feel hard done by, spare a thought for DSK - his chance at becoming President of France is gone, probably forever. (That consequence alone is reason enough for any astute observer to withhold judgement until all the facts emerge at trial.)

Then you maintain that you actually needed proof of limbaugh's drug use when you demanded links and it wasn't merely a form of harassment.

His drug use is pretty much common knowledge on these boards. It was the dealer crack that I am still waiting for a link to. And I notice you still haven't posted one.

Well you *know* she's a liar if she lied and made up a false story to claim asylum in the U.S. And that's a serious lie.
We need to do away with those refugee and asylum programs.
