Apparently, there is a movement in Saudi Arabia for women to be permitted to drive, and this movement is using the social networking websites to get the word around. But what problems that exist in the Islamic world, appear to be changing from within the countries concerned. But as the Saudi Police might arrest women drivers, with any luck more will drive regardless of threats of arrest, as something wrong is only changed by people acting on the problem, eventually the Saudi authorities will give in, and that by the sheer numbers of people who are prepared to risk arrest to get what they should rightly have, it is best to allow that change else risk public dissatisfaction at the ruling entities, as the Arab Spring can appear anywhere in the Arab world. But, Pahunk, I really don't think you need to worry about Sharia coming to a place near you soon, as although a minority might want it, you have your constitution to dissolve first.
