Rory currently has an 8 shot lead and he is....
•First man ever to reach -10 in R2
•First player ever to reach -13
•Lowest 36-hole total of 131
Will he implode like he did in the Masters?
How many more records could he beat?
Is this the right place for a sports thread cos I've never seen one on CM?

This could very well be his first Major!
8 shots on Friday isn't the same as on Sunday, but one hell of a start!
He shouldn't implode, that course is playing tough, and he can shoot par pretty well through the rest of the Tournament and still win.

As for records, I'm not so sure!

Rory is looking good.  I'd finally like to see the young man win his first major.  It should be one of many.  He's a great golfer.

Much more experienced players have had the same experience at the Masters that he had. He is a talented young man and if he keeps his head on straight and playing the way he is .. he should go far. I'm looking forward to watching him for many years to come.
