Then dare the woman and bring her down with here own stupidity, as far as I know, if she is seen as an irresponsible mother, then it is possible she could be putting her kids in danger, to which the law will have to act and take her kids from her in order to protect them from her stupidity.

How is she putting them in danger?

Lucylastic -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 7:23:41 AM)

Lucy,

I feel sorry for the kid.  When she yelled at the reporter, "thanks for ruining our vacation",  all I could think was poor thing your Mom told you this was a vacation and not a publicity tour.

It just appears to me the kid would dearly love some time with her Mom.  The two of them without the circus.

Lucylastic -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 7:34:31 AM)

as a mom she disgusts me in more than oh half a dozen ways

GreedyTop -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 7:35:37 AM)

hey Firm!  Many warm regards to you and your Lady!~

On Topic:  I agree with Hilly.....

The media is already starting on Palin's 10 year old daughter (if you want the link, I'll find it but that's not the point)

This is a plea.

Some of us love SP, some of us loathe her.

The older daughter since she decided to become a speaker, minor celebrity on her own is fair game.

Can we ALL agree to PLEASE leave a 10 year old out of the discussion except to say positive stuff?

She is guilty of nothing more than "travelling with mom" Let's leave it at that.

Righties, Lefties and middle folks. Let's let kids be kids.

Hillary, Mrs Kerry, and Michelle got involved in the campaign, so the McCain girls.  This made them fair game Clinton's daughter the Obama girls and all but one of Palins family didn't/don't.  I agree until they become part of the campaign (beyond I am a great family person here is my family) they should be off limits.

By being a politician that many do not like and that at least judged by these forums alone, where there is dislike there are always nutcases that take dislike one or ,many steps further and her children might become a target for the nutcases if the children are seen to be more involved than just following their mom around the country. The bottom line, she as a responsible mother should keep her kids out of her affairs and that for their own safety, as it is known there are nutcases in society, the sort of nutcases that even dare to shoot presidents.

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 8:45:43 AM)

I'm not aware of her 10 year old daughter being in the news... but I agree -- leave the kids out of it.

If Sarah Palin wants to claim those as her children, we're going to need to see the long-form birth certificates.

I mean, who believes "My water broke in Texas, so I flew home commercial air to Alaska"?

More misogynist sexism.

Firm, about the water breaking issue, im with fargle on this one.

There are a lot of politicians out there who someone doesn't like. And from my experience, a lot of them have their kids in the media at one point or another. Should we take all their kids away? Also nutcases have been known to go after popular politicians also. Should we take their kids away?

Iamsemisweet -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 9:25:30 AM)

Remember how Rush Limbaugh used to make fun of 13 year old Chelsea Clinton?  It was despicable.  So, I agree with the OP on this.

BamaD -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 9:37:23 AM)

It is wrong no matter who does it.

Don't expose kids to danger simple as that, and as for politicians by their very nature as opposition to someone, they should know better, and protect their family by keeping them out of the limelight. Or it could be looked at in another way, who are you considering electing, the politician as a person, or the politician and their family in which case, is their family qualified to be a political entity, are they entitled to vote even.

Personally, I find the parading of family in politics to be kind of sick, and to me, the politician is using their family to achieve their aims by appealing to a certain cadre of voter.

You vote a politician in, of course they may have dependants, but you didn't vote the dependants in, so they should keep in the backround whilst the voted does their job.

See what I am getting at ?

Saturday Night Live also mocked Chelsea and I found that despicable too.

slvemike4u -> RE: Palin's youngest (6/9/2011 11:50:39 AM)

In addition Chelsea don't look to bad ,that little lady grew up nice.....and since it is so very fashionable right about now( all the cool kids seem to be doing it)...I too am a misogynist sexist.Something's just a little too fishy about that plane flight.

That's ok, Tazzy.

Fargle just continues to use slurs related to her gender every time he talks about her.  This is just one in a long line.

I will say, however, that I've heard very few accusations that a male politicians kids aren't his own ...
