It traces back to your party`s ruinous '08' debt disaster.

You thought pretending would make it go away.

And your party has offered nothing but the same policies that got us there.

Not one thing is different.

I'm actually OK with you calling me a lefty. The simple and plain, everything black and white, no annoying facts that would hinder cowboy ideology; that is what works for you.

Let's not allow the fact that I seem to piss off roughly as many 'lefties,' those as such are blithely assigned thuswise in your world, as I do 'righties' to get in the way of that.

Well, when you`re to the right of The Duce, everyone`s to the left.

It's all good.

Here's another bit of info regarding "the Dems are the party of Goldman Sachs" dance:

The Rt. Hon. David Cameron is the Prime Minister in the UK, and leader of The Conservative Party. Nicolas Sarkozy is the the President Of The French Republic, and who's party is ...  - Union pour un Mouvement Populaire, UMP) is a centre-right political party in France -, and Chancelor Merkel (Bundeskanzlerin Merkel) is from the ... - Christlich Demokratische Union Deutschlands, CDU partei, or 'party' as we say it here, another conservative party.

These and a good many others were and are parties to the process in play for a couple of months already before Obama, a Democratic President (which means Commie Dictator, how could anyone miss that?), ever got involved.

But why don't we just 'go with the flow' here and say that mnottertail claims that the Union pour un Movement is the party of Goldman Sachs, and Fellow says that The Conservative Party is the the party of Goldman Sachs, and you say that the German CDU is the party of Goldman Sachs, and Lucy actually said, quite clearly, for all to see (i.e. if we are on the right drugs), that  The Shining Path Commies-with-recent-inductions-from-al-Qeida is actually the party of Goldman Sachs.

"... if the Dems are the party of Goldman Sachs as you claim... "

Oh, just "man up" to it folks. The evidence is incontrovertable. Denial of your crime is not acceptable!

This is starting to get really fun here. I can see where this all came from now.

Please don't tell me that in your mind you are a centrist ? Pretty please don't do that.

Edwynn -> RE: US to bail out Greece? (6/9/2011 3:29:14 PM)

No, he was calling me that,  in every contradiction to the fact that I'm even further from that standpoint.

Having to think of even just a third possibility is screwing with his head enough already. Let's lighten up here for those that need the mental break.

Considering things one at a time, on their own merits, without ideology to tell him what to think or change his diapers for him in the process ...

Don't wear the boy out.

slvemike4u -> RE: US to bail out Greece? (6/9/2011 6:09:53 PM)

I understood that Edwyn...but he did say "Everyone's a centrist in their own mind"....now while I would agree he has a right to be included in a set so large as to include "everyone" I am hoping he is intellectually honest enough to exclude himself from the subset of those who think of themselves as "centrists".

Police have been firing teargas in an effort to disperse the crowd

Greek police have fired teargas at protesters outside parliament as MPs prepared to debate new austerity measures required for the EU and IMF bail-out package.

Demonstrators who broke off from a strike rally in Athens responded by throwing yoghurt and stones.

Prime Minister George Papandreou faces the risk of a revolt in his Pasok party over the austerity package. He has proposed a unity government to pass the measures, state TV reports.

He is seeking support for a new austerity programme of 28bn euros (£24.6bn; $40.5bn) in cuts to take effect from 2012 to 2015.
Thousands are taking part in a general strike, the third in Greece this year.

Ports, public transport and banks have been badly disrupted as the main public- and private-sector unions go out on strike.

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — As riots engulfed Athens, Greece's ruling Socialists launched talks to form a coalition government with rival conservatives — even though Prime Minister George Papandreou's resignation may eventually be the price for a deal.

A deal would help ensure approval of a new austerity plan that has enraged a nation already hit hard by draconian welfare cuts but is also essential to avoid a default that would knock the global economy.

The emergency talks came as riot police clashed with thousands of youths in the main square outside Parliament. Police fired repeated volleys of tear gas to repel rioters hurling firebombs and ripped-up paving stones. A crowd of youths smashed the windows of a luxury hotel in the square. As unrest spiraled, the coalition talks appeared to come at a high cost: Papandreou's job.

Are you really sure you want to bring up bush`s fuck-ups again.

You always end up defending that clown.

Sanity -> RE: US to bail out Greece? (6/15/2011 1:53:11 PM)

This thread doesn't have anything to do with either president Bush, 0

Its about how socialists have utterly destroyed Greece

Though you could argue that fiscally left leaning figures such as George W. Bush have dragged the United States down the same path that has caused Greece so much grief

Take your pick, I just happened to choose b
