Finally heard back from my source: Yellow/summer squash and zuccinni, sauted w/ onions and basil - oregano mabe add tomatos is desired. Butternut or acorn, microwave 10 mins w/ a couple Tbsp of water, covered w/ saran wrap, halved, hollow side up w/ butter and pepper inside. Or, cube same kind, peeled, cover w/ water in a pot, boil until soft, drain and mash, add butter, S& P to taste, serve like mash potatos. Or start the same way (boiling) blend when soft, add carrots, onions, whatever and mkae soup. Even works chilled for a summer liunch soup. Spagetti squash: microwave like the others, then scrape out w/ a fork, loosen and use in place of pasta, hence the name "spagetti" squash
