Welcome, Bill. Finding a local trainer is best done at your local events, munches, etc. Finding a mentor online is good. Keep in mind, a mentor typically is not hands on. A mentor usually teaches, answers questions, but isn't physically involved with the person being mentored. However... ymmv. (Your mileage may vary.) Good luck finding both of them!
