I am having a hell of a time getting a copy of "Everything's Broken".

Anyway his name is really Bob Zimmerman. He is friends with an ex-employer of mine. Also their customer. They sell really high end audio equipment among other things.

I never met him, but I did meet a slew of people there. Sports stars, politicians, the Jacobs to name a few. I'll have to cal that place, I haven't talked to them for a while now. I bet they'll get me a copy of Everything's Broken, I left there on good terms. Told the guy - "If you move the service department into the fucking basement I am quitting", and I did.

You know what might seem strange ? I don't want to meet any more celebrities or politicians. They are just too detached anymore.

But if I'm not mistaken Dylan wrote alot more music than most people know. There are a couple of other aartists who have written a hell of alot more music than they performed. I wonder what his voice sounds like now.

Kinda sad he has reached 70. Reminds those of us to whom he is important about mortality. Tried to find "Ring them bells" from the excellent album "Oh Mercy" but its very hard to find his songs on Youtube. Anyway this is the music player on his site: http://www.bobdylan.com/sites/www.bobdylan.com/themes/dylan/player.php?song_nid=undefined&album_nid=undefined

LOL, had a bit of a Dylan party yesterday, made some really nice food and inflicted a few of my fave albums on the visitors, I didn't sing, I'm not THAT much of a sadist...

I got it. You can't get it on youtube or anywhere on the net, but P2P had it. Good copy too, but I have yet to listen to it on the good stereo.

Everything is broken. In fact the fan is broken so I can only play a couple of tunes loud until it needs to cool off. But, I got what I wanted. Someone ripped it somewhere.

Whatever it was, I got it, I have tried to get it for ten years, but bringing it up made me try again. So thanks. Maybe I'll go see my ex-boss and tell him to send Zimmy a few bucks, because I really like that song. And I like it by Dylan, not the rest. I got a shitload of copies, I think one live by Dylan, but the studio version is what I wanted. I want no more. Actually at his age I wonder if he will perform again, or at least write. Wild dude, wild times and wild tunes. He can play your heartstrings like a violin.

RE: Him writing more songs than he ever peformed...

His son said he wrote an entire album about the his divorce but didn't record any of them. I'd be interested in seeing that.
