A few years ago I saw a film that played early in the morning for the second time. It was a Canadian film probably shot in the 1930's and it was about a deaf girl who was basically ignored by her family of kept out of school until the country doctor learned of her and took her under his wing and then took her to Ottowa to have her tested and found out that she was pretty intelligent. It was a delightful film though it did have some sad parts in it. Does anyone know the name of this film?
