I've never been able to ethically go through with it, but there have been times I've pondered trolling over on a gay bondage site, posing as a gay top, for the purpose of getting gay bottom boys to submit to things like doing bondage photos/videos for me (custom porn) or engaging in some email exchanges that would lead to nothing in real life. I've never done it, because I don't think it's honest.
There is something distinctly different about the way gay bottoms merchandise themselves, and it's intensely attractive to me. I don't know if it's just that I've developed a fetish for this after watching so much gay porn (since het porn is lacking when it comes to male subs - as far as charisma, etc.). I got hooked on my first bondage porn when the Internet was still very, very new, and I 'd go down to the local gay bondage shop and pick up my monthly (was it quarterly?) issue of "Bound & Gagged magazine." The images of men in bondage were amazing! The men were absolutely gorgeous to look at, and the gay bottoms were absolutely skilled at being irresistible "prey."
Gay bottoms position themselves (no pun intended) more than het bottoms do (at least that's how I see it) - they work on making themselves interesting and attractive prey. There are times that I get a bit of a lust to just go online and see some highly customized BDSM porn (hot guys in bondage), live cam shows, whatever, without the drama, do-me factor, etc. I've seen extremely attractive gay bottoms on some of the gay sites, and thought about contacting them and pretending to be a gay top to engage them - but it's just not something I could do.
I've also considered finding and grooming a gay bondage boy in another context, essentially supplying him with bondage gear in exchange for BDSM, but it seems too much like exploitation.
I'd be a lot more interesting if I didn't have morals.
