Playing off the "balding" thread, has anyone ever had hair extensions?

If so how did they stand up to vigorous hair pulling, tugging?

I have very thin hair so I'd like to get extensions this summer to give a more fuller thicker look.

I'm concerned though that when Master goes to yank and drag me by the hair that they'll pull right out.
Don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for something that's just going to come right out.

Anyone with experience?

This may not be the most applicable anecdotal evidence from an ethnic standpoint but a few months ago I watched that Chris Rock movie "Good Hair" with is a behind the scenes documentary about the black hair care industry. Many of those women who were interviewed had extensions and basically their hair was off limits to their men even for touching. My instinct tells me that hair extensions probably would not hold up to the rigors of aggressive or even moderate hair pulling.

I knew 2 ladies that wore them.  I got the impression that they were very delicate.   Like freshly woven silk... to be handled with gentle care- and respect-  hair made of silk-  curls of gold.

Yeah, I played with a gal with extensions once. Had her ballgagged and arms in a binder. Grabbed her tight by her hair (She began making strange inchoate noises that I mistook for arousal), slung her around hard to get her in position (Noises grew louder, in retrospect, frantically so)...and then her hair came off in my hand and I was left staring at a fistful of extensions as she shot out of my grasp and faceplanted the wall like a wren smacking into a sliding glass door.

Not my greatest moment as a Dom.

Get clip in extensions. They are far cheaper, easier to maintain, indistinguishable from "permanent" extensions if you spend an extra 5 minutes blending them in and dont destroy your real hair. Take them out before a session.

This is what I get for not asking Him first

I guess no extensions for me.

I hate how thin my hair is though and takes forever to grow.

little wonder if I could give you some of my hair I would... I have to have it thinned.. razored just to make it look right cause I have a lot of it.. why I have short hair... long is way too much work for me...

but yeah they aren't really something that can get tugged on and pulled a lot as they are just braided and tied in...

Hey little wonder, yes I have hair extensions, but I no longer use permanent ones, those hurt and they also came out when pulled on too hard. I have long hair naturally like you do I believe, but it's not as thick as I would like so now I rely on those fun instant extensions. I buy them from www.sohoforme.com and also a place called www.voguewigs.com. They stay in super well, and if he wants to yank and pull my hair he just does it more like from the nape of my neck so he gets a good handful or my real hair too, and I can wear them or not, so it's way more flexible than permanent extensions, and cheaper.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :)

This.
I would like extensions too but I will get the clip in kind. I dont want to take the chance of my hair falling out due to the weight of woven in hair extensions.
I would like to get various wigs as well for a different look once in a while, different sexy personas.

Thanks Aynne88. I appreciate your thoughts on this subject. I had a feeling you'd chime in eventually lol. My daughter wears the clip in type but well, I wasn't about to ask her how they held up because A) I don't wanna know what her and her boyfriend do lol and B) I'm not about to discuss that with her on my end either lol.

Maybe I'll buy some of those type just to at least try them out, make a day of it with my daughter putting them in for me and see what He thinks. At least if they come out they're not the permanent expensive ones that are going to cost me mucho money to have done only to have them pulled out.

Thin hair sucks

It does suck because I love big sexy hair. But honestly he is pretty rough with the hair pulling thing and like I said as long as he is getting a handful of both the real and the extensions, it's not been a problem. I even wear those big 80's looking "jaw clip" pony tail type ones and even then he yanks pretty hard and not an issue. Hell, I sleep in mine . .

In the picture below I am wearing this one, without that big "pouf" in the front of course...lol. I love this piece and for 25 bucks, when it looks old, toss it.

well I talked to my daughter and she said when I move down near her soon that we'll make a day and she'll show me how to put in extensions since she does them for herself. She was explaining the differences between them to me last night.

and yeah Master can be pretty rough on pulling my hair..not that I'm complaining lol. I just don't want him to look at me like "why the fuck did you put those in?" when he pulls them out lol.
