Yeah. When you think about it, what it is and also what it symbolizes isn't what you could call a good thing. Or a 'mature' thing. The use fireworks are usually put to is the glorification of national violence and the relegation of the individual to the role of spectator. Throw in some inappropriate music, like 'Hooray for the red, white and blue' by John Phillips Sousa, and the jingoistic frenzy is complete.

Sooo... pbm... do you know who the enemy is? How could that possibly be?!? If you don't know who he is, you can't very well say he is an enemy, now can you? Is asking who the enemy is, unpatriotic? Is failing to answer unpatriotic? Is patriotism patriotic? How much is too much? Hello Mr. NSA snitch.

If I never saw another piece of furniture that belongs to this entire house, get my friend outta  his own hellhole, get my belongings together and my car back on the road, I would happily and joyfully never look back on any of it. So....nothing, in this place has MY fave label. Except the china and crystal. But then again, that's not furniture.
Sooo, person beneath ME, do you get frequent killer headaches?

Hi Fluffy, I'm still keeping myself out of trouble!

Not just room temperature, but anything over 70 degrees or under 60 degrees & I can't function !

Soooooooooooo PBM

Have you ever played 'Taking a drink to the health of Admiral Puff Puff'? Or any drinking game really .

Yes, but I prefer leather straps to metal bracelets as they don't ruin shirt cuffs.

Sooooooo PBM.

Have you ever gone to a till to pay for something, & found you had forgotten your wallet/purse?
