MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 5:10:22 PM)

I'd say I enjoy activities near the water vs. on the water.

TPBM is buying a new costume for Halloween.

OneGuyOneCamera -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 7:44:05 PM)

Never.

TPBM will be the 4483 person to post. Holy shit!

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 9:13:07 PM)

I suppose I am. Yes.

TPBM will smile a bit when we hit 5,000.

dreamofthemoon -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 9:52:44 PM)

Most likely I will.

Tpbm likes even numbers more than odd.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 12:46:12 AM)

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm no.

TPBM remembers the smell of cheap, ansty Halloween masks from their childhood, but still, in some way, cherishes the memory.

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 12:50:34 AM)

I still smile remembering being "Rocky, the flying squirrel." My answer would be, definitely, yes.

TPBM remembers their favorite Halloween costume of all time.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 12:58:38 AM)

I am uber literal and that can't translate without tone-of-voice, so my answer is that you are three-times-correct. I remember all three: it's a Gaelic thing. A favourite for each one in context for The Night.

The Person Beneath Me at some point has been thank ed for doing something they did for someone else without a moment's thought, but that thing ended up being something that few people at all would be generous enough to do, much less without expecting something in return, and this meant that someone, out of the blue TOTALLY thanked the Person Beneath me for doing that thing, feeling that thing, being the kind of person that "could", and "did".

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 2:54:37 AM)

I'm not sure that I follow. Yes, I have done things that were no big deal to me, but was important to somebody else at the time.

The Person Beneath Me remembers where they were at the time of an important historical event.

Bstardsbitch1 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 9:49:00 AM)

Yes and it wasn't a good event.

TPBM is meeting a new friend this weekend?

DommeGoddessEva -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 10:25:28 AM)

Hopefully, or maybe into next week?

TPBM has a cold

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 3:26:15 PM)

not since last winter.

The Person Beneath Me is considering when to get this season's flu shot.

lovethyself -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 5:49:11 PM)

I suspect it will be when they are doing them at work (I'm lazy that way).

TPBM has struggled over how to say something.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 7:59:35 PM)

During break-ups with non-poly-people or figuring out how to extricate myself from involvement with a BPCD person, yes, otherwise, almost never.

(btw, DOM, you understood it completely, judging by your reply)

TPBM has at one point been asked by someone to help that someone, in some way, on a film project, even if it's just a "you tube with no budget" short-film project.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 9:11:49 PM)

Not that I recall

TPBM has been on TV

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 9:29:05 PM)

If when TV acts like a tapeworm and begins using youtube clips without permission of the people in the clip, when youtube used footage that was supposed to be for limited use only, then maybe yes. otherwise no.

TPBM has been in the background of TV or HBO specials coverage of "Alternative Lifestyle" shows, like the people at the "Rubber Wedding" episode of "Sex" by HBO in the late 1990's where they had the entire SF Bay Area kinkster brigade present and mugging for the camera.

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 10:24:01 PM)

No, I haven't. If it was live taping, I probably wouldn't attend the event. I have been covered by leatheratti.com and a couple of other written mediums, but I won't do anything visually recorded.

TPBM prefers groups that do not permit pics/videos/taping in the play space.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 10:32:53 PM)

in a similar manner to how you answered the "love at first sight" query, I'd say it's almost a moot point, since app-wanks with tablets or filming on phones dopes not qualify as "filming" or "videoing". If someone has bothered to get a tele-media degree from a reputable source or a cinematographer's degree it would be different but as you said ala "I don't fall in love with my subs" I say in the same way "I don't consider some Gen Y dipshit with an i-Toy to be a film person or video person". Just like many hospitals, "turn off all mobile phones upon entry".

TPBM does not consider any dipshit with a mobile phone capable of recording video to be a "film-maker" either.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 11:14:34 PM)

Yes, I have been on legitimate TV in a vanilla manner for a vanilla purpose.
Mobile device picture taking is a joke ... at least on the ones I have owned and the file sizes are too high..
ALL events that I have attended ... even munches ... bar such devices. One of them now does not allow cell phones to be in your possession during the event including the registration line.

============
The Person Beneath Me has been the fifth wheel at a play party.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 11:21:54 PM)

Pragmatically no (I was involved, was 'engaging') but emotionally, and 'in reality' yes. I was. I'd rather have been at the coffee place downstairs chatting with film-nerds whom were twice as kinky but did not self-identify as kinky, to be honest. (a lot of them played harder than the Leatherbound, I can say from experience, also).

TPBM has had a wild night of play with someone who does not self-identify as a member of the "BDSM Community".

Bstardsbitch1 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/3/2013 11:43:58 PM)

No, everyone I 've played with has been in the "community?"

TPBM does not like the BDSM buzz words e.g : Lifestyle, community and gifts of submission
