If you mean non historo-fic, and actual biographies of people from the past, such as Hypatia, yes.

TPBN has more than once had to be patient with someone TPBM had a crush on who had no idea TPBM had a crush on them.

And had to flirt a wee bit harder....

lovethyself -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (9/30/2013 10:47:39 PM)

Oh yeah. What made it worse was everyone else picking up on it and teasing him for not responding. I felt like a complete heel later that year when he came out as queer. Ooops. But..... it was the end of a convention weekend, we were all so tired we were drunk with it....... and I had a cream topped desert in front of me, that I was eating just the icing with my finger..... while he sat across the table from me........

*sigh*

TPBM is nowhere near bedtime right now..... but wishes there was someone to cuddle with anyways.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (9/30/2013 10:53:14 PM)

especially at school age.

The Person Beneath Me enjoys movies "based on true events".

lovethyself -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (9/30/2013 10:56:00 PM)

I prefer novels based on true events, where there is a bilbiography for me to reference and separate the parts of the novel that were fact versus those that were embellishments.

TPBM....... prefers reading a real book over an e-reader.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (9/30/2013 11:10:55 PM)

yes on the cuddle thing, and ALWAYS real book, I don't even have an e-reader.

TPBM prefers to save time to see a museum than re-organize time to view a museum's treasures online, if the museum in question is less than 6 hours away.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (9/30/2013 11:47:59 PM)

I like the real deal unfiltered by someone else.

The Person Beneath Me is a night owl.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 12:19:20 AM)

Used to be, not now, unless insomnia or unabiding concern for others hits.

TPBM has, at least once, smoked a "gourmet" cigar, the most luxurious of leather upholstered chairs, and enjoyed it,

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 12:46:29 AM)

not I . I got cured of smoking in one cig puff as a kid.

The Person Beneath Me leaves some music playing to fall asleep.

Bstardsbitch1 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 1:43:46 AM)

No although I do often have world service radio on...yes I know I have a sad existence [:D]

TPBM has a holiday planned

garyFLR -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 2:48:03 AM)

Yes.

TPBM.

Would like to know where [:)]?

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 3:24:31 AM)

I'd love to know.

TPBM has a current passport.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 6:26:44 AM)

Not since the Viet Nam war.

The Person Beneath Me was alive in the Viet Nam war era.

lovethyself -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 6:50:45 PM)

Nope. Sorry if that makes you feel old.

TPBM also wants to know where Gary is going on holiday.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 7:01:22 PM)

While I wish him a good time, where he is going was not on my radar and still is not.

The Person Beneath Me does not plan a vacation this year.

lovethyself -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 7:04:08 PM)

This year is almost over, but I'd still like to have a bit more time off, since most of my summer consisted of overtime, not time off.

TPBM is already starting to hear plans from family for thanksgiving.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 9:32:12 PM)

Nup (thought with my background and location THAT is hardly surprising. Though whenever I was in the USA at the time, or with yanks here, I always celebrated it).

But you're Canucklicious, right?

The Person Beneath Me has enjoyed celebrating whatever the Canadian version of Turkey Day is, maybe skiing at Whistler Mountain in Vancouver, though that's a long way away, but that's no different to USA folks travelling over 900 miles for a Thanksgiving Ski Holiday in Lake Tahoe or Taos.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/1/2013 11:19:32 PM)

Not for many years. I'm way out of practice.

The Person Beneath Me eats some meals while watching TV in the evening. (not at the dinner table)

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 12:21:18 AM)

True

TPBM brings their lunch to work.

garyFLR -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 2:28:14 AM)

Yes.

TPBM.

Have you ever jet ski'd?

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/2/2013 3:18:08 AM)

only took lessons.

The Person Beneath Me enjoys recreational activities on the water.
