From the shadows, I lunge in for the win yet again...And just to ensure it stays mine, I'm gonna leave this here...

Nice car. But I think it could use a new muffler.

It's morning here, and i've got a full day of catch-up chores to get after.
How's everyone's housework looking? Any home-improvements being planned?

My chores include making sure the GF's house doesn't look abandoned when people drive by. I've been attacking it as best I can, given the limitations of my back and shoulders. Lawn's looking okay, got the yard waste burnt last night, and next week (weather permitting) there's some exterior patchwork and touchup painting to do.

At my place, I've got the cauldrons filled with fresh oil, two new spools of razor wire to go around the top of the compound fence, and I've been vacillating on whether or not to expand the moat a few more yards. Last year's punji stakes look good enough, but I have to go and restock the minefield after last winter. The ground expanding and contracting must've set off half of them, by my estimate.

Not sure if I should invest in another pallet of Claymores, because those darn kids keep stealing them for the 4th of July. I've also been looking for a suitable moat-monster as well, because it's getting too expensive to keep restocking with fresh alligators every spring. Maybe I'll put an ad out on CL for any bio-engineers who could cross a gator with a bear, as long as it didn't try to hibernate.

Well, it's about sundown now. I should get up on the parapet and warm up the flamethrower before the zombies and Mormon missionaries show up...

Protect the lawn at all costs !

When Chaos and i get to settle on our land, we have to; build a house, rebuild the barn, plow up the garden acres, and refence the goat yard to house a cow.

i asked Chaos the other day if cows could sunburn, i didn't think he was ever going to stop laughing.

LOL okay so I am a true blonde and did not know the answer either so I goggled it.....the answer is { drum roll please}

Answer:
In their most sensitive areas like on the udder, yes. Usually cows that have no pigmentation on their udders (it's a pink colour instead of brown or black) are more susceptible to getting sunburned, especially when there's snow on the ground.

So now you know the rest of the story.

I've also been looking for a suitable moat-monster...

Piranhas are always a classic choice. Or maybe a hydra or dragon. Or Meg.

Same old same, Fae. Being smothered by dust bunnies, and the never-ending laundry monster.
There's not much home-improvements being planned, for now.

I'll take three. They look more cold-adapted than the others, and has some mass. Yeah, creepy bat-frogs and assorted wee creepy-crawlies have a tactical position in my book, but if you wanna go for the win, go big. But it is the 21st century, so I probably have to break down and start hiring/cloning minions. While I'd like to go with this:

Owing to my current cash flow, I'll probably have to stick with this:

Sounds like a perfectly fine question to me.

But then I'm an Eva Gabor kind of guy.

ETA: Oh, and I win.
