This brings up a couple of interesting questions.

1) Toward the end of his term, President Bush said that getting Bin Laden was no longer a priority, why?

Was it because all of the intel gathered to that date had yielded negative results?

2) How was the name connected to a caller? Was there more Intel than we are being told?

He was no longer a priority because he was largely neutralized and not worth pursuing if lives would be at risk.

I certainly hope we arent being told everything!

Secondly, Realone never contributes anything useful to the topics posted.

Not to Bushbash, but if the shoe fits, throw it. A good possibility is that it's because Bush would just say anything almost. Think of the hubris and stupidity involved when he said that dictatorship is OK as long as he's the dictator. Those are not the words of a statesman. No speechwriter in their right mind would ever write it either.

Another possibility is that since progess was so slow, he didn't want to look like a failure. Image is everything, remember ? (pretty much what you said)

We are never told everything, that's a given. Don't know for sure, but this little hideaway may not have had any phone lines. That means people were using cellphones. Even without GPS technology there are ways to find out where a cellphone is, usually anytime there's a charged battery installed and certainly when it's being used. Even getting the general area coupled with satellite photgraphy could explain that.

One thing I bet we'll never find out if if someone collected that bounty. Interesting to note that it went uncollected all those years. Now if such a price were put on Bush's head I think it would've worked.

I do not believe in magic bullets, either, for example.


But if you are going to grab on to every hair brained conspiracy nutjob, crackerjack theory as being the gospel truth, nothing you post is going to seem credible to me.


It is beyond comprehension how you can be a birther. I cannot even comprehend why this would be something that a bunch of crackpots were focused on when many of the same people wanted to change the constitution to allow the governator to run for the White House only a couple of years ago...

Sorry for responding on topic, I didn't realize the hijack was approved. Lol.

We all know there is alot of sneaky backdoor hanky panky going on in this government. I actually do believe there is a conspiracy, but it's not as "certain people" describe it. It's simple, they want all the money. Hell, that's not so hard to believe.

But now it's 1984 (ala Orwell) and sane logical thinking seems to be rare. Common sense ? Hah ! Well it works both ways. Think of some of the stupid things the politicians say and do, why would it be reasonable to expect a better thought process from the disgruntled ?

I'm starting to believe that some people are victims of disinformation. That works both ways.

I do remember watching on al-jazeera a prgram called (top secret) in it they show a footage from satelite,
there you are mr bin laden himself & another arabic Prince, which they kept secret but we know he was from UAE.
so the CIA contact UAE, & the F18-F16 birds were up in the sky to take that hit.

UAE, told the CIA that hit is no go, & so they abort.
If the CIA wanted to take me they take me, but if am protected from others CIA can not.
